Jimmy-Aaron

Youngandconfused, do not be afraid to post your feelings. You are using the forum for its intended purpose........to critique the videos and performances, share views, and be willing to debate, as well as get to know people with similar interests.

What you have to understand, is that some people take this very seriously, maybe too seriously, maybe not. They come to view these guys as their friends, and feel the need to protect them, and coddle them. They see every criticism as a personal slight (don't start posting examples of what you want me to see as personal......please).

You are more like me. You see this as entertainment, and no matter what you say about models you like, you do not get "attached" to them. I adore CHAD, his eyes are intense and sexy, he seems like a great guy, I make a big deal about him on the forum..........but, if he was to stop filming on Broke Straight Boys today, it would not affect my life whatsoever. Just like it doesn't upset me if someone says they don't like him

If we all had the same taste in guys or sex, more than half of the world would die as single virgins..............that would be a shitty world to live in, and the competition would be brutal.

That being said........the people on the forum, don't get paid to be here, or take insult and criticism. I do get to know them, and even care about some of them..........so if they disappear, because they feel unaccepted here, I do notice, and it does affect me. So if I have to choose between standing up for a model or a member, I choose the member.......every time.

Well said, so many people forget that these people are performing their duties as part of their JOB.

Well Mikey, I think that the subject of Jimmy has gotten so toxic that now anything the slightest critical is called bashing. I say when you are watching a scene and fast forward and the picture you get is the same shot you were watching, then that close up of genitalia has gone on too long. I had that experience four times in this scene. This was a routine gay sex scene that you can see on any low rent video. The actors, one gay (no straight guy has a Prince Albert and a tongue piercing.) with mad sucking skill, the other hired help. Boring was the exact word that I would use for that scene. Which is an easy thing to happen when a director abdicates his or her responsibility to the actor. This was a sloppy job. I think we established a precedent with Bobby and Darren that commenting on a models appearance was not bashing. Jimmy looked like he had just got out of bed unshaven and he is getting a beer belly. Again, not bashing. What did I like? That they kept their shirts on. No, really. That is always a turn on for me. And Jimmy at least looked turned on. But all in all I wasn't. Utilitarian at best. I gave it my first 2.

I am tired of hearing Jimmy get bashed. I think he is extremely sexy and always enjoy his videos. I love all the Broke Straight Boys guys. But please show some respect for a guy whis putting himself out there in a way those who criticize him never would risk.

Respect?! We PAY them to do this! That's right "WE" as in subscribers.....it's called BUSINESS! Not Kumbya! No one is BASHING. Why is it if someone doesn't like something and they say that in these forums, which is what they are for by the way, are people someone ganging up on one person or bashing? As a PAYING member I would just like to voice my opinion about how things are going, it's not BASHING, it's BUSINESS.....supply and demand, and there seems to be LITTLE demand for Jimmy. No offense to him at all. If he reads these, then he should be taking notes.....or he can get a job like the res of us. I'm tired of being spoken to on here as if we owe some HUGE debt of gratitude to people for gracing us with their presence on PORN! It's PORN, not real life.....we don't know these people in real life, nor they us....that's why for the third time I say, in these cases BUSINESS wins every time...and the comments have to do with BUSINESS, not character.

I sure agree with Ms. Kianna that it is the people on the forum that are important here, and for the forum to continue and to flourish we should all try not to insult or belittle anyone's postings, especially by a new poster like len63, who has only made three posts here. He is as entitled to his opinion as is anyone who disagrees with him is, as well.

Yes this is a "BUSINESS! Not Kumbya!", but the forum is a place that should be inclusive to all, and I hate to see a new poster "jumped on" for expressing an opinion that may differ from the majority of the poster's here. All of our voices and opinions are equally important, whether we agree or disagree with their point of view.

First of all, welcome to the forum len63. I find it interesting that you've only joined the forum this month, and you can plainly see the negativity that is thrust upon one performer here, Jimmy Johnson. Somehow all of the normal rules of civility seem to disappear when it comes to to commenting about him.

Jimmy is one of a handful of models who actually read and post on the forum, and he has tried to be understanding and positive when responding to negative criticism. Knowing that he is actually reading the things written here, it makes it doubly rude and disrespectful to this young man.

Wouldn't it have been better to explain to Len that the reviews before were not really bashing instead of adding fuel to the fire?:bump:

I call them as I see them, Larkster. You are welcome to explain your version of reality as you see it, as well. :sneaky2:

I agree totally. I like the forums a lot. I guess I don't understand how members get so defensive of people on a porn site that they will never meet or talk to. I find this as entertainment and a escape from the stresses of life. I guess I will keep on posting then. I feel like I should not have to edit my comments just so I don't piss off someone. I've always been honest and I'm not changing for no one. Thanks kianna
I was thinking about this post that you made here, Y&C. As you say that you "don't understand how members get so defensive of people on a porn site that they will never meet or talk to", I wanted to take an opportunity to try to explain to you why I get so defensive, as you say.

From reading your twenty questions responses to Ms. K's wonderful interview with you, you are not a fan of sports teams, so perhaps you will not get this analogy either, but I wanted to give it a shot. I, along with millions of others, am a big time NY Yankee fan. I have never met the players or the ownership of the team personally, yet as a fan of the team, I do feel protective, and do get defensive when I feel that someone who "hates" the Yankees starts taking low shots or bashing them.

This past summer, Derek Jeter got his 3000th hit, which is quite an accomplishment, and he has had a legendry career, and almost assuredly will be elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame, after he retires from the game. Yet there are Yankee haters, and Jeter haters, who wrote articles, posted on websites, and called in to talk radio shows, belittling his accomplishments, and taking person attacks on the man, for his off the field relationships with women, for his not attending the funeral of the long time public address announcer at the stadium, as well as for not playing in the 2011 All Star game, as he had just come off the disabled list, and wanted to rest during that break.

For me following my favorite teams, is "entertainment and a escape from the stresses of life", just as you say coming to this site is, (as well as for me). I consider defense of your favorite team, player, website or model, all to be related, and I see nothing wrong with it.

Please Y&C, do keep posting on this forum, and don't edit your comments to prevent pissing someone else off. I admire and encourage outspoken folks who have a definite opinion to state them very clearly. But if you do state an outspoken opinion, be prepared to have that opinion debated, or disagreed with. It is okay for you to have your opinions, and for me to have mine too, even if we totally disagree, and it is okay to debate these issues, as well.

As my good friend Ms. Kianna knows and understands, this forum has had many peaks and valleys in our time here, and many interesting and controversial "forumites" have come and gone, and we both encourage newbies to join us in our love of this forum.

I do appreciate you, Youngandconfused22, as a relatively new, opinionated and interesting person to have emerged here over the last several months. Please remain here, speak your mind, but accept that everyone does not always share your opinions, and be prepared to ocassionally be disagreed with. It is all good.

Just out of curiosity, if you do think some of the above posts include bashing, could you give me some examples? And don't leave out anything I posted. Thanks.:001_unsure:

Mikey takes his homework assignments very seriously, Larkster. How far did you want him to go back for this one?:smiley-sex020:

Thank you Mikey. You handled that question very well. As Ms.K. has alluded to, some of us take the forum more seriously than others at any given time. Some of us feel protective of or get defensive over some of our favorite models and even Broke Straight Boys employees. This is especially true for some of us who have been here for a while.

As long as someone is not launching an ad hominem attack against a model or employee of the site, there are no "wrong" opinions in our tastes of models or scenes. There are only those opinions we either agree or disagree with. We are all welcome to express an opposing view to someone's opinion we don't share, just as we are welcome to agree with those we do.

Nobody should ever feel like they shouldn't post simply because their opinion may not be "popular". As long of course as it stays within reasonable boundaries of good taste.

Thanks Tampa. At least I know that you, and my other friends on the forum understand that I am all in favor of this forum being more active, with more participants and lively debate too. I am so sorry that somehow my comments can be misinterpreted, where people think that I am telling them to shut up, or that their opinions are "wrong", (no such thing as a "wrong" opinion).

I totally respect everyone's right to express an opinion, but I am also strongly opinionated, and if I disagree, I will say so. That to me is the way the forum should work. No offence meant to anyone.

Long live Broke Straight Boys, and particularly the open, uncensored forum, here. They both rock!!!

It's a double-edged sword

Exercise your right of free speech. Bash those bashers!

Larkster my man, I truly think that everything that anyone could possibly say about Jimmy has been said, at least sixty times each, by both sides. I'm so bored with this topic.

Why don't we discuss something that we can all agree on, like Kodi. Wouldn't you love to eat his hot bologna sandwich??? I definitely want a taste. Yum-Yum. :001_tt2:

Thou too, Brutus?

"Wouldn't you love to eat his hot bologna sandwich??? I definitely want a taste. Yum-Yum. :001_tt2:"

Mike... picked up Larster's advice, and plowed your tongue in a pinky star that you licked as a peach? Never thought you would become a rimmer, a hot bologna sandwich eater!

To tell you the truth Robert, there isn't much of Kodi's body that I would not want to put my tongue. He is an ideal looking young man. :smiley-love001:

This isn't about Jimmy. This is about the word "bashing" I have been in forums unrelated to porn where the word became prevelant to a maddening degree. For example I was on the American Idol forum a few years back and of course the subject was often critiques of the singers. People adopted their favorites and all of the sudden you couldn't say anything the least bit negative without being accused of bashing and being a troll. It really took all the fun out of it. I have frankly lost my compass on this site. I have given models and directors their props as well as their stripes since I have been here. But it has all been related to performance. I read the posts on this thread and did not perceive any bashing. Yet it was named as such. So, what is now considered "bashing?" This, again, is not about Jimmy. This same accusation can be thrown around about anybody. I wish to hell we could retire the word. :anyone:

PS GO GIANTS! Brady and Manning facing off again in the Super Bowl would be great sports theater.

The good news is that there is no bashing indeed on this thread. It's not that hard to say whatever you feel without the use of sarcastic BS.

PS: Learned so many mean English words here. Boy can I show of to the tourists!

young and confused Don't give up

Hey Yonng,

I find your comments true and accurate, but more important your post was well worded. There are only a few members who choose to criticize others.
Don't bother with them. It is your right to speak your true feelings
Keep Going
Tobey

I'm glad you and other members at least understand the point I'm trying to get across. I love your team mick picture I gave up on him having more scenes. I still have my fingers crossed

Jimmy is one of my favorites like Boston cream pie but I don't want to eat it so often. Jimmy is the kind of guy l would like to have a beer with and shoot the breeze with. But there's so many fish in the ocean beside Jimmy and I like fish many kinds of fish. So please let's change the menu and reserve Jimmy for special occasions like New Year's or Valentine times day.
