Superficial is an appropriate description for the 'acting' in this scene. Both models went through the typical motions with no diversity, no adventure, and certainly no mystery for us to discover. I expected this inasmuch as this scene went through the usual script of absolute predictability. It reminds me of a line from the old DRAGNET telly series: "The names (in every case - faces) were changed..."
...to me, this scene was something like viewing a rerun over and over again, or having the same dream over and over again. Eventually, the extraordinary becomes the mundane, and no extraordinary performer (Romeo) could salvage this video.
As for Ryder, he seemed old-hat at this, so there was nothing new or sensationally exhilarating he could bring to this or any scene. I am not impressed with him, and I truly doubt I shall ever be smitten by his abhorrent lack of inexperience. That does not take anything away from his youthful appearance; however, his tattoos scream against his purported innocence and on-camera naivete.
Oddly enough Jack...you and I saw the same scene. I agree!
I speak for no one else but me.( used someone else line there )(But I liked it)...All I say. This scene did Nothing at all for me. Can't like them all. So I pass. And wait with bated breath for
Vadim Black and JJ. Hope I spelled bated right ? Don't think I ever used it before. LOL
Forum trying to make me spell better. Anyway win some lose some. This one lost me...But as one of my favorite ladies once said.
Tomorrow IS another day.
You spelled it right, now. It's bated.
The scene didn't do anything for me either. However as you say, tomorrow is another day!
I feel you on this one! Did have that "paint by numbers" kind of motif...it did!
It bothers any us to critique any of Jonny's scenes in a bad light because we think so highly of him and have great faith in his abilities. However I must agree that this one felt like a Clay scene. Especially so with the quick kissing (lip pecking) placed at the very beginning that came across as so superfluous, sterile and forced. The models just seemed to be mentally checking off the list of requirements as they went along. Opening kissing. Check. Oral with one model seated. Check. Oral with the other model standing. Check....
One thing that surprised me though is that Romeo of all the people instantly knew, that in spite of following the script to the letter and two successful cumshots, that the scene had ended with a failure to launch. He correctly sensed it immediately but then was quick to incorrectly put most of the blame on himself. I have to applaud him for his perceptiveness and his eagerness to please. After all...in order for a performer to know what's bad or mediocre, he also has to know first what's
good! lol
I happen to like Romeo. I don't think he should beat himself up at all. This may not be one of his better scenes. But it's also not like he had control over all the variables. He will do better work in the future, I'm sure. xo
I mean, let's face it. None of Jaxon's scenes have fared well in the ratings...regardless of who he's been paired with. For reasons already mentioned more thoroughly elsewhere, he just seems like a better fit on
College Dudes than here. A handsome, experienced metrosexual guy with lots of tats, who enjoys getting an orgasm wherever he can find one...and can perform the mechanics of gay sex very well, is likely to gain much more of a following on
College Dudes.
As others have said about the kissing...if there's not enough chemistry, passion or acting for the models to sell it to the viewers, then it shouldn't be attempted. (Or it could even be edited out later.) Otherwise it can sometimes set a dull, flat tone for the whole scene.
