Wonder why someone would like about it to you guys? Is there an expectation that they be first on Broke Straight Boys? I'm sorry that Jake was dishonest with you, which obviously isn't nice. And I feel sorry for members like MikeYank (whom I love) for whom it's really core to the appeal of the site that the guys be fresh and new. Good questions Stripe. I have also wondered over time why experienced models try applying here when so many other openly gay sites would hire them. Especially when there are other sites out there that are not so picky about having only the newest of talent. I expect some hot scenes with Jake, as he was introduced to us along with Dimitri and Ronan Kennedy, last month, so they were apparently on a newbie visit to the mansion, similar to when we had newbies, Graham and Flint together, where Graham told us that he had sex with everyone in the house during his time there.

There's no question that Jake is photogenic, handsome, hung, confident and more and I imagine his scenes will be great. I have to laugh! In my work [and in my personal life] I have met numerous men who were heterosexual but who for one reason or another have had sex with other men. Some were drug addicts and as one of them once told me, "he was a lousy thief but made a lot of money easy having sex with men". Others were on the street and having sex with men was one way to get money in their pocket, food in the belly and a roof over their heads. Some were just curious and decided to give it a go and see if they liked it.

For many if not most of those guys, once the need evaporated then they stopped having sex with men. I have had 2 clients who had serious heroin addictions although to look at either of them you would not have realized it. I was able to resolve their legal issues and get them into rehab where they both did well. [Unfortunately not the usual in these cases.] Both are now well past three years sobriety and doing well. But one is in serious relationship with a woman and has been for about a year while the other is dating a young lady he recently met. But the point is this, in each case it was a way to obtain money they needed not sexual attraction which made them have sex with other men.

I know two ex-marines who were from the same town in Michigan who discovered that they could make a lot of money stripping in gay clubs. At least one of them still does so in Key West. They are both married and one has a couple kids. The younger of the two has always wanted to do porn and discovered early on that straight porn does not pay men near the money that gay porn does. He did work for several companies over the years and his wife goes with him on shoots. The two of them have also done some straight pron and bisexual porn.

The idea of men doing something for money or some other need which they otherwise would not do is not anything surprising. It i human nature.

I largely agree with you Juanjo, however with one caveat, and that is again the "Kinsey Scale". I believe that the men you knew who were heterosexual, but gay for pay due to financial situations fall into the 1 and 2 on the scale of being predominately heterosexual, but with either incidental, or a bit more than incidental homosexual proclivities. However, it is my belief that if a guy is a Kinsey 0, which is exclusively heterosexual, he will not do much more than a solo or perhaps accept some oral, but reluctantly.

I believe this because I know that I am a Kinsey 6, Exclusively homosexual, and I would not and could not perform with a female, even if I was a drug addict or about to be left homeless. It is just not in my nature, and I would find some other way to scrape up a few dollars to get out of my predicament.

It is my belief that the very straight guys on Broke Straight Boys, live a totally straight lifestyle off set, love women and not men, but do have it in them to perform sexually with a man due to circumstances that may occur in their lives. These are the men categorized as Kinsey 1's & 2's. That's the way I see it.
