I may very well be alone in my thinking but, when I watch scenes from Broke Straight Boys and the model identifies himself as "straight" (the premise of the site), I begin to look for signs that the model may actually be enjoying some aspect of the guy on guy sexual activity they're participating in. Excluding the solo scenes, there is no particular thing I'm looking for but, I know it when I see it.(that Organic moment). After a model has participated in several scenes with another guy, I start asking myself "Why are they really here?" I decided to go back and view several BTS including: Tyler's Interview: (7/21/09), Diesal's Interview (7/21/09), Interviewing w/ Bobby, Colin, Anthony, Chad, Darren and Connor(1/09/12) and the Straight Talk (episode 3). To my surprise, this investigation if you will, lead me to some intriguing findings. It also validated some of my observations. I heard various reasons for : " Why are they really here" expressed in different ways by different guys. The money, the travel, the perks, the prostate stimulation the fan based, attention/popularity and even that (at least one of the guys) just enjoys getting fucked! I know when I see it but, Johnny and Adam, unquestionably two of the hottest bodied models currently featured and in my opinion, two of the "straightest," have yet to give me that "ORGANIC" guy on guy moment. So, I come back to my question, Why are they really here? Or why still here? " They make it look good"( mechanically), I guess the question will continue to elude me and further fuel my intrigue!

I like the way you think Betyou. I am intrigued by the BTS too, and I'm so pleased that you included Tyler and Diesal in your search. Those are the same questions that I ask, when I am turned on by a model and can believe that their "story" is at least reasonably true.

As far as why they are really here, I am a firm believer in the validity of the Kinsey Scale, and I believe that all models that have appeared here more than once or twice in an experimentation mode, are all between 1-3 on the scale.

1 Predominantly heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual
2 Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual
3 Equally heterosexual and homosexual

And in reality not a zero.

0 Exclusively heterosexual

I believe the same is true for male hustlers. I believe that both the straight models here and the straight hustlers use the money involved in both professions as an excuse, often to themselves, for them to do "gay shit" without feeling guilty.

If my perception is that the guy is hot and believably straight, then I enjoy the journey as we can watch the unexpected pleasure on his face and in his body language. My problem with BSB3, as I call the current troupe of models and scenes, is that everyone is just so happy to be having sex with other guys, and the scenes lose all of the sexual tension and the straight allure to me. If straight guys are such good actors that they act convincingly gay, then what's the whole point???

The way I see it it's guilt free sex it feels good they get to use their dicks with no worries of getting anyone pregnant & hey of course they're getting paid to get laid

Very good stuff Mikeyank! I wasn't familiar with the Kinsey Scale but, you can bet I'll be reading up on it and thank you! And, by the way, not only do I enjoy sexual stimulation, I love mental stimulation as well:biggrin:

Some models aka Diesal may well start of straight but look at him now starring in all sorts of bareback and fettish scenes. Money talks.
As I said in my previous post in this thread, I think the money is the "excuse" that they use initially to psych themselves into doing something they have an innate desire to do, but those who keep doing it, such as Diesal are doing it cause it feels good, and the money is the icing on the cake, so to speak.

I always use myself as an example. No matter how much someone might be paying me, I would never and could never give a female oral or any other form of sex. It's not in me to do, and likewise, if Diesal or Paul or Damien did not "get off" on the sex, they would not or could not appear in gay porn either.

A true straight guy, (a Kinsey 0, "Exclusively heterosexual"), such as perhaps "Desperate Mike", who appeared here briefly a few months ago, might think they could do it, but opted out in the middle of a scene, as he realized he couldn't do it.

That is demonstrated by the many models who have done one scene and have never been seen or heard from again. There have also been numerous models who have appeared on this site, associated Broke Straight Boys sites, as well as sites not associated with Broke Straight Boys I say, "If you don't like physical/manual labor, why would you apply for a job in construction?" Many are also using the money (it seems) for frivolous, non-essentials so, how in need of the money are they?

I know a lot of people who claim there is just no such things as bisexuality. I heartily disagree. I believe sexuality is on a continuum – at one far end are the people who are clearly gay and have known that since they were four nor five years old; at the other far end are the people who are clearly straight and can’t imagine gay sex. But as you approach the middle of the continuum, the possibility exists of “a lot straight/a little gay” or “pretty straight but intrigued with boys” or “pretty gay but also into girls” etc etc. Lots of times opportunity determines whether you’re going to test out your gay (or straight) inclinations.

That’s to me is what is so cool about Broke Straight Boys You get to see who might be “inclined.” So does the fact that they are on the site at all indicate some sort of inclination/willingness/curiosity? Here’s what I look for:

1. Are they hard before they take their pants off?
2. Are they constantly peeking at the straight porn (I notice Shane and Logan don’t)?
3. Is there any sign of affection given – and that could be as simple as ruffling someone’s hair, all the way to the always anticipated act of kissing?
4. Are they coming back for more?

I’m sure the behind-the-scenes guys have a better idea than most of us. Lucky them!

Sivercamel: I so appreciate your sharing this thread, particularly at this time! I have always been intrigued with "Human Sexuality" (my own in particular) as it relates to this scale.
As far back as I can remember as a very young child, I have "liked guys." I would have little crushes on my male classmates. I would be turned on by Robin from Batman & Robin because he wore tights even before I knew anything about sexuality!
As I grew older, I was attracted to "certain" girls and boys. In my teenage years right through college, I was with guys (mostly straight) and girls (who were attracted to me). I was emotionally attracted to the girls I went out with and physically attracted to the guys all of the time.
Since I grew up during a time when boys didn't do things with other boys, it was always a mutual physical experience with no emotional interaction. That all changed later in life when I discovered I could have both with guys. I identify as a gay man. I am not physically attracted to women and have not been for a very long time. I feel it is the physical attraction to men as well as the way I view things, do things and relate on an emotional level with men, that allows me to identify as gay.

I can relate to a whole lot of what you say here Betu.
