I'm not sure if happy is how I would describe my feelings on knowing that Anthony is making the rounds on the rainbow blvd of gay porn sites. It does kind of shatter the illusion of him being a straight/bicurious guy trying gay sex for the first time.

I won't disagree with you Scorpio. Though I think the one word is rather strong. While Broke Straight Boys can't afford to put every "potentially" good model on an exclusive contract, it bothers me to see them on a bunch of other sites. We like to think that they are straight and coming here to experiment for the first time. And that we are the fortunate first to see their cautious steps in dabbling in gay sex. There's a certain level of dishonesty when they come here and claim they are straight and virgins, and act all nervous and tentative. And then you see them on other strictly gay sites where they're throwing their legs in the air.

To be sure, Broke Straight Boys has no control over what they do when they leave here and have no contract. But for me it is kinda sad. Unlike Broke Straight Boys I fear that the other sites are just going to use them to the hilt, and then chew them up and spit them out.

We aren't likely to see anything fresh from Anthony or Jimmy or Bobby, or Colin etc. They've either done it all or like in Jimmy's case refused to do it all, so why not let them do it on other sites? If they are gay-for-pay and this is they're living, I can't blame them for making as much as they can. It's not as if Broke Straight Boys is special in it's use of the models.

You are quite right Larkster that they are entitled to try to make a living any way they can. As far as our models over here on Broke Straight Boys being special to us... Sigh... It's not as if Broke Straight Boys is special in it's use of the models.

I wanted to address this particular point in a little more detail. While Broke Straight Boys may not be special in its "use" of models, it have always prided itself on its treatment of the models. I don't want to sound like I'm on the PR payroll here but Mark and David (and presumably Clay too) have always prided themselves on the fact that when models were brought in or flown in, that they were treated well and respectfully.

Even on the BluMedia sister site College Dudes (BCB) the models said on the forum that they were very well treated from the moment they arrived. (The site doesn't have a forum anymore.) If they were flown in to a city that was new to them they were given good sleeping accommodations and never lacked for good food while they were there. They felt safe. And they were treated with respect during filming. Just as the Broke Straight Boys models themselves have told us of life over here.

On the rare occasions that David hired models from other sites and told us this up front, stories trickled out that life elsewhere on the Rainbow Blvd was not so pleasant. We heard stories of models being cheated on their promised pay. We heard stories of surly, browbeating directors who humiliated and treated the models like a piece of meat. We heard stories of directors and staff routinely giving models illegal street drugs to enhance their performances onscreen. We heard stories of sites telling a model to go get the required HIV test done prior to filming, with the promise that the site would pay for it. Then they wouldn't pay for it. And the broke model would have to pick up the tab.

So if treating the models well and respectfully like real people is special...then I like to think that Broke Straight Boys is a special place.

I hope that doesn't mean anthony is a goner. I sure do like to watch him it is a close run between him and colin on my favorite btm on the site right now.
