I will br. I was thinking that I am still in touch with at least ten people who used to be active forumites but who have left here for the same reason that Buckeye did, and all for the same reason that the current porn is not the type that turns them on the way it used to. The most current is Rep, who still has a membership I believe as he always purchased yearly memberships but he finally gave up on the site because as he sarcastically calls it, “lesbian porn” or guys “rubbing pussies”. His thing is watching masculine straight guys getting fucked and my debate with him here was always that I like masculine straight guys to exclusively top. It made for fun debates here.
Another former member who quit for the same reason as Buckeye and Rep, emailed me last night and mentioned that he still checks out Broke Straight Boys new models and clips online and is sometimes tempted to return as he sees some hot looking guys, but doesn’t want to spend the money as he is always disappointed when he takes out a short term membership. He too downloads and has files of his favorite scenes from the past to view. I think of another member who goes back to the same join time as me, 2008 when the forum began. He is very private and would not share his email with me, but for many years we would exchange private messages. His favorites go back to David’s Broke Straight Boys-1 guys like Jordan and Logan, Alden and others including many Broke Straight Boys-2 guys too. But he finally left during the pandemic as it is not worth the money to him anymore as the content has changed so much. And these are just four examples. I am in touch through email or Facebook with another half dozen, and I see so many names on old threads that I miss on the forum that I wonder about. Some I know have passed away, but the majority just got bored as the site has changed.
I understand all the reasons that Broke Straight Boys has evolved over the years and I don’t blame Mark or Sha for the current direction of the site for if it is popular with the overall consumer, then that is where they have to go as it is still a business. But for me and many former members the porn is not the turn-on it used to be as the straight vibe is largely missing. If it weren’t for this forum which has been so important to me for the last decades plus, I too would have left a while ago.
