Has Gino moved on?

That would be very disappointing to me if it is true, as Gino is far and away my favorite of the new models. Hopefully he will be back on David's futon as well.

I agree. It is disappointing but it is true and not surprising. The thing that is the most frustrating is this need to convince all of us. It really isn’t a great feeling to know people treat you like you’re a sucker and fool.

I do believe that Gino got started on Broke Straight Boys and if he has left, he's moved on to greener pastures. And greener may mean more green!

In fairness, he could’ve filmed these scenes after his time at Broke Straight Boys, BUT if he were to come back, I’d expect more out of him. How are you going to go gang bang a group of guys for FX and then come back to Broke Straight Boys and say “I can’t kiss” or act all shy like he does.

we must’ve commented at the same time. Yeah I’m sure he’s just ventured out after his time at Broke Straight Boys, so I get that. What I would hate to see is his return and him acting like he’s some reluctant model, because FX is pretty hardcore.

Gino's return is up in the air. His first filming and scenes was with us on Broke Straight Boys, we were his first studio and we filmed him first and premiered him first on Broke Straight Boys site.

It did come to my attention that several weeks after filming with our studio, he did film with FratX. One of the models that he was with here in our studio, referred him and got him into that studio. Gino is VERY particular who he films with and what he will be doing on screen, although Gino is a super nice guy, he has his limits and what he is willing to do and not do. I was very surprised that he went to FratX. Based on what Gino told me, he didn't like the way FratX films and he didn't like the way they protray the models on screen and what happens before and after they film.

Apparently, Gino went off and did FratX. I did speak to Gino after finding out he filmed there and asked him why? They offered him a lot of money, he was able to top only (which I hope is true)...I hope he didn't kiss any boys there on set on camera. He explained to me the money was great, he was able to top and he didn't have to "ejaculate"...his orgasm and ejaculation scenes were all faked and he told me it was much easier to make more money and fake it then come here and make less money and have to really perform. He also indicated that he felt here that he had the pressure and the stress to perform, he didn't like when I asked him if he would kiss another guy, and then justify why? He didn't like me asking him questions regarding his sexuality and if I asked him if he would like to try bottoming, he felt as if I was attacking him.

Gino, is a nice guy, but he put up to many walls and although many of the members liked him...he is always welcomed back to film, but I am not sure if he wants to come back or not if its worth him coming back. I don't even think he is going to film porn for any studios going forward, I think he just did Broke Straight Boys and FratX and that is pretty much what he's done. He also indicated that he came into a good amount of money and he got his dream job so I think for now, he is no longer going to film porn again...or least for a while.

Thank you for that update David as now we know “the rest of the story”,

And if he is done filming porn, I am happy for him. I do hope he found a good job with a future and he can look back on his brief porn career as a youthful adventure. He seems like a very sweet kid and as much as I’d like to see him return to Broke Straight Boys, I am very happy that his life is apparently in a good place. If that is the case then I consider Gino a Broke Straight Boys success story!

David, I appreciate your response about Gino. I do have to ask, and this isn’t necessarily exclusively for David. It would be for Sha or Mark as well. Does Broke Straight Boys give potential new models a 3 day free trial to the site prior to the model giving their commitment to work? I’m just curious if these models are aware of the type of material Broke Straight Boys shoots and what is expected of them. Surely these guys know beforehand, and if not, I’d suggest maybe doing that. Maybe I’m stupid, but I would NEVER commit to any kind of porn work unless I knew beforehand what I was getting myself into. From what I’ve seen of Gino’s work at Broke Straight Boys, I can’t believe he thinks that is much harder than all of that work at Fraternity X. No offense to anyone who subscribes to that, but it’s really hardcore and there’s always evidence of drinking and pot smoking and just a nasty environment. To claim to be straight and then allow yourself to be portrayed or seen in such a seedy manner is questionable. I apologize to any model or viewer in advance if you are offended, but it’s just how I see it.
I think the younger generation is just smarter in how they want to work and get the most money out of people. I’m starting to believe that none of them are really straight at all and just playing everybody for fools because we’re gullible to believe them.
I truly don’t mean to offend anyone, it’s just my opinion as someone who sees so much stuff online. I’m just starting to wise up to a lot of it.

That is a good question. Yes we do give out free access to models that request it. Some want it and some don't so it completely depends on the model.

As for all the models being gay that is definitely not the case. Off the top of my head guys who have have a girlfriend and are at least living a straight life are Ben Dover, Jimmy Johnson, Johnny Forza, Vadim Black, Ethan Steel, James Dawn. Jos Alvarez had a girlfriend and I think Adam Baer and Kaden Alexander did as well but I am not sure if both those guys still do. Sergio had a girlfriend during the TV show where her parents found out and I'm not sure what happened there. I'm not that familiar with the newer guys.

And not coincidentally some of my very favorite models all time are on that list including Jimmy, Johnny, Ethan & Adam! Straight Boys Rule on Broke Straight Boys:thumbup:

Yes. Thank you David for that great explanation. When we hear of some of the limitations the models put on the director, and we find out some of the models' unique idiosyncrasies on set, I find it a wonder that directors and set choreographers haven't already pulled all their hair out trying to get some quality porn out of many of these guys. lol

Hey Jay,

I understand some of the frustration behind the source of your questions and the points you're trying to make. I think many of us have been where you are when it concerns the behavior on set and the "limitations" of certain models. Please keep in mind that I am not going to bash any one particular model here. Or name names. I'm just going to use generalizations to make some of my points.

Some of these models who are straighter than most, or at least want to convince us that they are quite straight (whether it's true or not) will seemingly go out of their way to act out on set. From the earliest archives up to the present, we have seen it all. The truly straight guy for instance who is great looking and shows up prepared to do it all for the paycheck. He's willing to be vers and go through the whole repertoire if it means he will make some serious cash. Then we sometimes get the not so attractive straight identifying guy who shows up and acts like we should just throw sick amounts of money at him just to sit around looking pretty.

Sometimes we get frustrated because they make all kinds of demands or start whining (because they're "straight") and in truth many of us are convinced (with our gaydar) that they're not very straight at all. So then we're left wondering if the model is purposely playing us the audience and insulting our intelligence...or even if he was set up to do so by the staff. Now I must quickly say that I have concluded that the latter scenario is the least likely of all. That's not to say that it has never been hinted to models by the company that if they came to work here that they would possibly have more success if they played it straighter than they truly were...but for myself I've concluded that for the ones who act out the most on set, that that's about 95% on them as the model. (My own opinion and others are welcome to disagree.) If you're acting like a jerk, and annoying the paying audience, don't try to point fingers at any of the staff. That's on the model. To further make the point I'll just say that the company and staff have zero interest in bringing in guys who have tons of "limitations", are uncooperative with the staff, don't play well with the others (like their fellow models) and insist on doing as little as possible for the same amount of money they're paying everybody else to go all the way.

There is a third option where certain models are just lazy and have a poor work ethic. Just as they are like sometimes in mainstream jobs. The kind of annoying employee and coworker who shows up and tries to do as little work as possible for the paycheck, while standing around watching his other fellow employees busting their a**es, trying to get the real work done. haha We've all seen that type of person and employee. Whether it has been a coworker we've actually worked with ourselves, or at any number of businesses we've patronized and frequented over the course of our lives.

I know the frustration of seeing some of the antics of very uncooperative guys who act shocked that they are being asked to do gay stuff on camera. Sometimes I've just wanted to throw something at my screen and say something like, "What did you think you were getting yourself into?!! Did you do no research beforehand? Did you really think you were going to get paid big bucks over a few days just to jack off and grudgingly allow yourself to get nothing but hand jobs or blowjobs? With no touching of another guy expected by yourself at all?" Haha

I'm glad to know that applicant models are offered a trial membership of sorts to be able to view what's expected of them in advance. It's pretty safe to say though that just about anybody under 40 is very internet savvy these days. In this day in age, with all the free tube sites and free promo clips of Broke Straight Boys material online, there's very little excuse for any younger model to show up on set and be genuinely shocked and blindsided by what he's asked to do. Straight or not.

Tampa, you and I have gone through this countess times in the past, but I must remind you again that the entire audience of Broke Straight Boys doesn't necessarily have the same sensibilities as you do when it comes to straight guys on Broke Straight Boys When a straight guy doesn't want to kiss or give oral or be fucked, I don't see that as his being "lazy and having a poor work ethic" or feel your "frustration of seeing some of the antics of very uncooperative guys who act shocked that they are being asked to do gay stuff on camera." You also ask, "Did you really think you were going to get paid big bucks over a few days just to jack off and grudgingly allow yourself to get nothing but hand jobs or blowjobs? With no touching of another guy expected by yourself at all?"

From my perspective I see that kind of behavior that you see as a negative to me as being hot, and those are the kind of guys that I originally came to Broke Straight Boys to watch. And keep in mind that every director from David, Clay, Johnny Robins, Damien Christopher to Sha and back to David, does Skype interviews and phone chats with these guys before they ever show up and both the director and the model discuss their limitations and what is and what is not expected of them on set.

And especially guys who are invited back after their initial shoot weeks and still will not do the things that you want to see. There is a wide audience out there who search for gay porn sites with "straight" guys and Mark and Sha and David are aware that what pleases one audience member may displease another. I think it is unfair to paint the entire audience of this site over the years with a broad stroke of the brush, and to assume that WE ALL feel the same way as you do about this subject.

I can only speak and share from my experiences. When guys apply to our studio to film we get ALL types of guys applying to do this. Not everyone makes the cut and moves on with the interview process. When I interview the guy applying, they have to have a certain look and personality...if the guy is for Broke Straight Boys (for me I want them to be on the straight side of the fence and have a good personality). The interview process to get hired for Broke Straight Boys and College Boy Physicals and the other sites is a two part interview because we want to make sure that this guy we are hiring has the mindset to do this. Between Sha, myself and Mark we really vent these guys applying.

We will not hire guys that place a lot of demands and limitations...if a guy applies and tells me he doesn't give or receive oral or touches another guy, we don't hire him...we do have our limits on what the model is demanding and what limitations they are requesting. We don't hire models that want to make $$$$$ to only get a blowjob or just wanting to do a solo. We are not the studio for them and these type of guys.

We also respect and treat the guys applying with respect and once they get here, we treat them with the outmost courtesy, respect and 9 out of 10 times, most of the guys have a very good time filming, feel comfortable filming with out studio, and they all say filming with our studio was one of the best experiences and I pride myself with that feedback. I hear from the models (although I don't want to know) they talk amoungst themselves, the horror stories from other studios.

When the model arrives, we do respect them sexually and there limits. Some guys come here and want to get there "freak on" while others are a bit more conservative...what bothers me the most is when they come here to film and put up restrictions and limitations, we will respect that, but then they will go to another studio and bottom or kiss, or do something they said they wouldn't do...I am not sure if its a money thing or how the other studio treats them....but it really bothers me when we have a model here and we do our best to respect them and there limitations when they go off to another studio and do the opposite of what they tell us during the interview and when they come here to film. Or, we see them on a social media platform performing with other guys doing crazy things with each other and it makes us look bad in the eyes of the viewer.

It seems like most of the time, we respect the guys performing and we are hiring but they don't respect us in return. I don't say anything to the particular guys but it does bother me, but I keep it to myself so thank you for letting me vent....

These are some of the guys who never bottomed on Broke Straight Boys What they may or may not have done elsewhere is not of interest to me, as this is the site I belong to and pay for. My preference are for the exclusive straight tops!
