Happy Fourth of July!! :)

Before we get too far away from the 4th I just wanted to say that I was happy to know that both David and Mikeyank saw, participated and enjoyed it.

I had more than one motive for including Neil Diamond in the thread. The first and foremost reason was because Coming to America is my favorite song for the 4th. The other reason I had was that Neil Diamond's father fled anti-semetic persecution in Europe and was grateful for the chance to live a beautiful and free life here in the United States. So I hoped that a reference to a famous and successful Jewish artist would be pleasing to and resonate with Mikeyank, David and any other Jewish members of the forum.

Back in the “good old days”, when this forum was so much more active than it is today, with so many more people participating we used to have holiday threads all year long, every year, and so with the lack of many active members today, rather than start a new thread, I found this older one to wish everyone a very Happy July 4th! Whether you are going to the beach, having a picnic or just watching baseball as I am today, lol, enjoy!!!

Happy 4th everyone! I didn't do anything special today, took my Dad out for his first post surgery "long walk" and we went down to the beach as the parking lot is a nice flat (almost a mile long) surface to walk on.

Saw some awesome eye candy there and this one shirtless jogger who I did a quadruple take on, each time he went by I couldn't help but admire him 😏 he was about 6'1", and had just the right amount of padding to make things move (ok jiggle LOL) just right 🥰 There were plenty of ripped college kids too for those that like the pure muscles, and some dad bods. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with the memory of that jogger and my right hand 😂 🥴😁

Are we brothers from a different mother, Chac? Lololol.

Seriously I was thinking about you and your dad today, hoping that he is doing well. So glad you spent some time with him today. You are both so fortunate to have each other.
