Wishing a Happy Father's Day to the Dads on this site and also the Dads of the members of this forum. Whether your Dads are still with you or gone into the realm of eternal life, there is still one thing you have. That is the treasure of your memory of the love he had for you. Without Him you would not be here.

Happy Fathers' Day to those of my fellow forumites who are Fathers. I came out later in life and my children were in their late teens/early twenties. They excluded themselves from my life and after a while two of them and I reconciled after 6 and 15 years. That was a total surprise since I had reconciled myself to growing old without them in my life. So now there are grandkids around and it is great. My oldest is still excluding himself from my life and I don't think that will ever change. But it's been so long, that it doesn't really bother me since it is a situation over which I have no control.

My own Father passed away in 2004 at the age of 94. I talk to him everyday so it seems as if he is always with me.

Happy Father's Day! Hope everyone has a great day. Remember, if you're not a DADDY, it's never too late!:bump:

Touching.........the kid couldn't sing worth a damn, but I always thought he was cute, even back then.
