Thank you, mikey, in providing a fulsome answer. Yes, I do use the New Posts button as you taught me; but, as you know, I don't read every thread especially if it is an old one or if the topic doesn't interest me. In this case, I saw it was a thread started over a year ago and I just don't go to those. My bad, I guess. But when a forumite asks a question in good faith, I don't think it is too much to expect a fulsome answer such as you gave from the appropriate person or persons.
