9 years ago last month I joined the forum. And the first person I interacted with was mikeyank. You responded to a question I had about the forum. And from there a beautiful friendship has developed. We discovered what we had in common - the Yankees, Duke (after Notre Dame, of course); the FDR post office - lol !!; my love for and years I worked in NYC; and so on. We got to know one another and also our families.
The last thing I ever expected from joining a porn site was to gain not only a friend, but also one that I feel as close to as a brother and one whom I love, respect, and admire.

Thank you all for your good wishes and sweet messages. It was a "different" birthday for many reasons, including that the restaurants are still closed in New York City due to the pandemic. And so for the first time in many years, I did not get to go to my favorite Italian restaurant right here in the neighborhood and have my beloved veal parmigiana and have the waiters sing Happy Birthday!
But I did see family out on Long Island and had a Birthday Barbecue instead. So it was a fine birthday and the forumite heartfelt wishes helped contribute to an excellent day. As my friend Ms. K said many years ago, "I came to Broke Straight Boys for the porn but I stayed for the forum". You folks here are family to me too!!!!!
