Ok, I have to say more.
Shea is 18, very young, and he decided he didn’t want to do this anymore after his first try in his first scene. I want his short visit at Broke Straight Boys to be a positive experience for him. I want to show understanding and kindness. If he ever signs on to see his scene or read comments about him, I want to show love and support and positivity. That was strange that he did his scene with Chris, bottomed and told David that it wasn’t bad. But then David found him crying, yet he still did this “Getting to know” you interview after this happened, and he is still leaving after the one scene and interview. I feel like there is more going on than what was said. Perhaps after we see his scene, things will become more clear. He does seem like a nice kid and I wish him well, but it is confusing to me.

Kudos to Broke Straight Boys for running his interview as it shows that there are at least some straight boys filming for Broke Straight Boys, and that gay porn is not for everyone. It may have made no difference, but perhaps it was too much to ask of an 18 year old straight boy to bottom and give up his virgin ass in his very first scene, and perhaps it might have worked out differently if he had topped instead of bottomed. Broke Straight Boys used to start with the straight models topping, sometimes a lot, before gradually and slowly getting them ready to bottom (e.g. straight twin Kaden Porter topped @ ten times before his first bottoming scene, and thereafter topped and bottomed equally as he took to bottoming like a duck to water). Ironically Shea's scene partner this Saturday, Chris Star, is also straight and had his virgin ass fucked in his preceding scene. My curiosity is now peaked for next Saturday's scene.
Shea was a super nice guy, but his mind and body was somewhere else. Gay porn wasn't for him but I give him Kudos for trying. Thank you David for telling us this and for conducting the interview. Situations like this confirm the reality of Broke Straight Boys even in 2022. If this was just a typical porn site we would get experienced gay performers. I’d rather get a new guy to porn and gay sex who fails rather than a proficient gay performer.

I am surprised by your response. I thought you would go down the old Broke Straight Boys route that I agree with you on. Coxy, I most definitely would love the old style of models and scenes. but unfortunately David’s hands are tied in the current environment of Broke Straight Boys In his first scenes back this time he tried to use the old style of letting a guy develop a comfort level over a few scenes but membership and apparently management insist on anal in every scene. If Shea couldn’t maintain an erection, he had to bottom. A slower progression would turn me on too as real life situations where we do not necessarily know the outcome before we start. I love reality type situations on Broke Straight Boys that emulate real life, but in 2022 with one scene a week anal is necessary in EVERY scene today, whether it hurts the prospects of developing new talent or not. But David came back to try it but was told he had to conform to today’s style of filming.
While some players decide not to go further, reality often sets back in which brought them here in the first place such as economic or a certain let me call it itch. Even in this faster pace environment those things have not changed.

Before I even book a flight for any model, I reconfirm several times. I do this because I want to make sure that the model will commit to there dates and arrive and not flake out. Although we do have a lot of guys flake out, in this case Shea confirmed and I booked his flight.
Once he arrived, Shea kept to himself. He didn't want to reach out or make friends with the other guys. He stayed in the room alone distancing himself from us and the others. I had no issues with his privacy and respected that. But once he started crying prior to filming and he didn't want to film. We had a problem. We can't force a model that doesn't want to film. Why he confirmed and showed up? I have no idea. He had plenty of time to think about this and then back out and I could have found a replacement. He had a month and half to figure if he wanted to do this or not.
I didn't pressure him or treat him unfairly because that is not our style, but once a guy comes here and cries, we have an issue. The other guys tried to make him feel comfortable and thankfully, we was able to do one scene. He did great filming but afterwards...he just wanted to go back home and continue with his college studies and I had to respect his decision and he was sent home.

Thank you as always David for bringing us the inside story of what goes down with these kids who come to film for you. As far as Shea having a month and a half to think about his upcoming appearance I can understand his change of heart once he actually arrived and realized that these guys he just met were about to fuck his straight virgin ass on camera. The reality of the whole situation may have clicked in once he got there. We’ve got to give him credit for filming a scene despite his trepidation but he apparently decided after the scene that gay porn was not for him, and he forfeited the balance of his weeks pay.

I rewatched this interview today, after watching the scene and the after scene last weekend. Shea is really a sweet and handsome young guy. I don’t think his issue was necessarily gay sex as he told us that he has experimented with guys before and calls himself bi-curious. He also twice said that he wasn’t interested in doing straight porn in the future either. He said he would stick to watching porn, with his cute smile.
He is a very mature 18 year old as he took the time to do this interview the day after his sex scene that convinced him that porn is not for him. Having just watched Liam Addison's Broke Straight Boys debut scene this evening, he might have been a better debut scene partner for Shea: both young straight boys from Alabama, both hot, both having laid back personalities and Liam showing tonight that he would have been much more gentle breaking in Shea than Chris was. I would actually like to hear confirmation from David as to which 4 models were at the shoot week. Shea, Chris, Duncan, & who was the 4th? Ashton & Liam weren’t at this shoot week, so I’m confused why there are these suggestions that Shea should’ve started with either one of them if Ashton and Liam weren’t there. I think there is confusion that all of these models were available when I think it’s just Broke Straight Boys alternating shoot weeks.
