In the case of
Active Duty - I assume that everyone knows that Dink sold his interest in the business ot Next Door some time ago. While Dink was quite serious about maintaining the bonafides of his stable of men - former or current military, the current owners are not at all as concerned with this and it is common to see the same models on both AD and ND.
And the site is not as good now for those reasons. Its become just like any other gay porn site with nothing to set it apart from the hundreds of others (and I HATE their customer "service!"). Have been a member over there off and on for many years. When I rejoined last autumn I was not aware of the ownership change because I'd been away from
Active Duty for a long time. Don't like the new direction and loss of the original "theme" of the site. Have cancelled and will not renew when my sub is up. And that same basic principle applies here, as well.
Broke Straight Boys has changed from its original concept and is worse off for it. I was a member here for years and then left and was tempted back a few months ago, but am really disappointed so don't know if I'll stick around or not once my sub has to be renewed.
So all that being said, we've beaten the whole "are they straight or not" topic into the ground. Although I am here for the "
Broke Straight Boys" I am willing to accept that they are not all straight -- some are bi and some are gay. I mean, what are you going to do? Finding enough truly STRAIGHT guys to appear here would be impossible, especially with this new (and awful in my opinion) way in which things are done by just throwing the new models straight into full-on anal scenes after their initial jerk off vids. Back in the day it was a slower process -- they'd come in and jerk off, and then come back for an oral scene -- and not even always GIVE oral, but sometimes just get head as they were slowly accustomed to the guy-on-guy thing. Then they'd perform oral, then usually fuck and then get fucked. It was slow, but the buildup was sort of exciting. Each time you saw the "new guy" he was taking a step closer and closer to having all-out gay sex. There was anticipation. It was believable that this was (probably) his first time. Now its wham bam and on to the next new model. Don't like it. Don't like it at all. But, just my opinion. Obviously management and/or enough members do like this format because that's the way it is now.
Again I digress... bottom line (for me) is truth. If they are open and honest from the start I have no problem. But I do not like to be lied to. I've seen a couple of the
Broke Straight Boys guys on other sites long after they were here, with the same "this is my first time, I've never done anything with a guy before, etc." and I know its all part of the fantasy of the straight guy seduced into gay porn that we the members are asking for in the first place, but I'd rather have them say nothing or be vague than out and out lie. One of the
Broke Straight Boys guys on another site, while he was introduced by the director as "straight" kept avoiding and being vague when asked about his sexuality, saying things like "sex is sex." He never once claimed to be straight nor that he had never been with a guy before. I'd much rather have it done that way, then we can each believe what we want to believe without being directly lied to.
