Thank you David for addressing these issues. And actually if you think back to the early years of the forum during your days of directing and producing Broke Straight Boys-1, there was not unanimity among the voices then either. I clearly recall times when you got frustrated and addressed the forum by telling us that you can never make us happy. You said that members ask for one thing and you did it, but then there was negative feedback to that too. And I responded by saying that there was not a single monolithic voice on the forum out here and that everyone has their own idea of what is “right” or who is “hot”. Porn and sexual desire is as subjective as anything there is in life.
And so you can never please ALL the people ALL the time, but instead try to please ALL of the people at least some of the time. And that is why I am so thrilled that Justin will be appearing on Broke Straight Boys It has been a long time since we’ve had a dominant straight top on the site who doesn’t like sucking dick or rimming or want anything near his ass. That is my kind of fantasy straight guy that floats my boat. Guys who like twink bottoms have been getting their share lately and now I am getting someone who caters to my fantasies. You are very correct...back in the BSB1.0 days...I took things a lot more serious and at heart, I think with age I wised up and mellowed out, but yes...back then you guys would piss me off and frustrate me because we would work so hard and work hours and hours and weeks on weeks filming to have those members be so rude, back then we had a lot of members on the board and a lot were very rude and nasty at the times and even at each other, members would be rude and nasty to each other. I think those posts are still up and running if you go back and read them. It was crazy times back then...

Two points:
1) This is only porn we are talking about so there is no need to take any of these conversations too seriously.
And,
2) As true great Winston Churchill once said, there is a value in reviewing our past actions.
But mainly this is just chit-chat between friends, both members and management of a gay porn site. In my opinion, life has too many serious things to focus on and so no one should take any of this too seriously.
now David, lol. When Sha explained why the GTK of Aaron went up so early it made sense why. Only because interviews usually post the same week as the model’s first scene. This was a one time instance where it left members confused. You have to admit that it is unusual for a model’s GTK interview to post a month before their first scene does. Also, it does a disservice to the model because some members will automatically give a shit rating and then never go back and change their vote when their scenes post, therefore leaving the model with a lower score than normal. Aaron’s score is 4.25 and none of his scenes have released. That being said, I appreciate Aaron’s interview and understand the explanation of why it appeared so early.
As far as models appearing over and over, lol, well I do understand why people are disappointed. And I use the word disappointed rather than angry. I’m not angry, just disappointed. We are asked all of the time to be patient and that times are different. Most people have expressed concern with Broke Straight Boys only giving one new update a week. Ok, I understand the reasons and explanations given and I accept them. However, when you only get one new scene a week, you kinda want a variety of people in those scenes. Liam is WAY OVERUSED at this point. He debuted at the very end of April, which is basically May and has had 9 scenes to date and a 10th on the way.
All of that said, I know you guys work hard to bring the very best and I sure appreciate it. I can only speak for myself but if you ever see me voicing concern about anything I’m just voicing concern…lol. I may appear angry but I’m really not. Also, I’m still here. Obviously I am a huge fan and I support you or I wouldn’t be here. I admit to being a pain in the ass to many on here, including David, and for that I’m very sorry. I’ve cleared everything up with David and we’ve talked and I hope he and Eddie know that I love and support them.

I'm glad you watched two of Justin's three scenes over at College Boy Physicals and you will like the one you are going to watch even more. Of his three scenes over there the one that made me a little uncomfortable was the third with Alexander due to the tendency towards S & M., while I like sex for pleasure and dislike sex to inflict pain. However that was consistent with the role he was playing of an angry coach with a player who injured himself goofing around playing another sport, so in fairness I had to cut that scene some slack on that.

Thanks for reminding me to watch Justin’s third College Boy Physicals scene with Jayden. It even had a cameo by Eddie as the doctor who brought in the results of the x-rays. Again Justin fucked his young athlete and shot another massive load. Now I’m up to date for Justin’s Broke Straight Boys debut this weekend.
Wow! I have a feeling that I'll have much to say on this thread and future Justin threads. I'll start here by saying that as David pointed out, negative feedback over 10 years and more tended to get nasty at times. Like David says that he has mellowed with the times...I have evolved too. If I express negative feedback (in the hopes that it will help improve the site and help gain and retain members) I try to do so with a much gentler tone than that 10 years ago or more.
As you point out Jay, as much as some of us may complain, offer constructive criticism or unsolicited advice... The fact that we're still here after all this time shows how much we love and are loyal to the site. We feel invested ourselves in its success. So as you say, if I for example may come across to some as angry or upset about any asperts of the site, it's really not anger at this point. It's voicing concern. The site has very competent and experienced professionals in charge. There are so many real problems facing the world right now after all we've been through. It helps to give us perspective on what's super inmportant in the world, and what's not.
Times are changing for the era of pay sites. It will not always be to the viewers' liking. At best we can offer advice. But there are many more headwinds and challenges to this business paradigm that ever before. With such a diverse audience, at best we can hope that they manage to please most of the people, most or a good part of the time. I know they're trying.
I will admit that I haven't even watched Justin's introductory BTS video yet. Nor have I watched his first Broke Straight Boys scene. Yet. haha I've had a lot going on in my personal life that has kept me distracted over the last two weeks. Not to get too personal or over-share here, but I've had a lot health issues to deal with, plus a sudden and unexpected death in my extended family.
Had I not had all of these distractions I would have been on top of a model such as Justin joining Broke Straight Boys I have meant for a while to go over to the College Boy Physicals thread and gush about how much I loved Justin in the scene where he plays the coach. I think he did a phenomenal job in that scene! I loved the role playing and the seductive (if not somewhat hokey) dialogue. The one thing that stunned me in the scene was that this hot tattooed model playing the role of a coach...and who was probably hired strictly on the basis of his looks...could actually truly ACT! He could make me want to believe that he was actually a coach dealing with an unfocused, undisciplined and mischievous player in his charge.
When the scene ended I was shaking my head in disbelief and shock at how multi-talented Justin was and is. I could pick up on his maturity, wisdom and worldliness. I left the scene thinking that this guy could really go places. This "porn model" could actually try out for serious mainstream acting if he ever decided to pursue that route. Heck. He could/can be successful in many other fields or avenues that he might want to explore. Respect to Justin and whatever his real name is!

And I highly suggest you spend some time watching David’s interview with Justin. Yes he is extremely well spoken with a great voice and vocabulary. But he also tells a compelling story of tragedy in his personal life and how he is doing gay for pay porn to help his orphaned sister. It is a compelling interview which I believe will give you a different perspective on this hot, sexy, young man.
