I have always claimed to not be superstitious. However, I have for years taken that day off from work and refused to drive. Superstitious or cautious?

I'll leave this open for discussion. Are you superstitious?

I am extremely superstitious when I used to be able to go out I would never walk under a ladder, on Friday the 13th I would always be extra careful in what I do etc.

Contrary to what I originally posted, I had to make an emergency run to the store for a couple of needed items. The trip was uneventful. Came home only to discover my kitchen light had burnt out. Hmm, makes me wonder. But, that's another adventure for another day.

there is no reason to believe that any superstition has a basis for exist. that being said, I am superstitious. beneath a thin coat of science there is a past filled with the superstitions of the my culture.

I am not really superstitious but this morning I was doing some baking and almost everything I touched ended u pon the floor. When I nearly pushed over an open full bottle of oil onto the floor I quickly finished up my project and cleaned up. Traffic where I live is always bad on Friday and I try to avoid it or only go out during non peak periods today I did not go out at all. Why tempt fate. I don't think Friday the 13th has anything bad about it but I do believe the full moon has some influence on people, sometimes good sometimes bad. I have had some incredible and strange dreams since the full moon popped up this week. Having worked in the hospitality field most of my life I can say that people do act much more strangely on full moon nights.
