I really appreciate the fact that many members use the forum to speak of the important social issues of our ever changing times. Although I rarely post in the forum, I do read the posts. It is nice to know so many of you are very socially aware. So thanks for caring and sharing issues of our vastly changing world.

When I first subscribed to Broke Straight Boys it was for the porn. Occasionally, I would peek into the forum just to see what it was all about and what people were saying. One day a post caught my eye which was a tribute to "Dead Porn Stars." I wanted to respond to that thread so badly, I finally joined the forum. By the reception and welcome I received, I soon realized this was a special place. It was more than just a forum. It was a forum with "benefits." Besides it being attached to a porn site, I discovered a new spectrum of friends I have never experienced before on any other cyber sites. You mentioned that you were happy to see that many of us were also socially aware. Yes, Marky, we are normal people living our normal lives. While the porn brought us together, it is not the main focus of our lives. We come from different countries and cultures. However, we can come in here and communicate as One Family. The world is currently experiencing many challenges. Here in this forum we are Free to vent, to express our opinions, our concerns, our varied emotions and experiences, and know others are listening. We Are Not Alone Here. We Are Family!

Then I met some interesting and informative characters in the forum, This is what sustains my subscription. And because the membership stretches from just about all four corners of the globe, the opinions and knowledge is mind-blowing. Whether we agree or disagree with ones opinion there is a greater feeling of respect here.

As has been said by others I too came here for the quality of the porn. I have stayed because of that as well but also I have to say that I have become quite fond of some of the charecters who regularly post here. Even the ones I occasionally cross swords with verbally at least.
