I don't know what skinned means, but unless it means turning the background back to black, then please do that. A white bakground limits the number of colors you can use in posting. See my last post in the reputation thread. Did it when background was black, and yellow stood out fine. Now it is virtually unreadable.

I will try to figure this out in the morning, it is 11:40 at night for me, and I can't find anything. I can't even get to the videos from the forum. Will we get our navigation buttons back on the top?

I know in other applications I have seen they refer to a skin as sort of a theme that changes the look of the user interface to the program. My guess is since this does sort of look like crap that this is what Mark was referring to and tomorrow it will all look familiar again but I could be wrong.

i bet you are right. i need to find me geek to explain how this skinned thing works. not that it will matter in the morning. ever wants find out how much a guy knows about his subject just give him good head while he explain how a system/program functions. so many functions, so little time.

I don't like this new forum format at all. I used to like the black and red background - those colours are synonymous with Broke Straight Boys I also liked seeing the pics of the models at the top. This forum now is the same type as that on BSB TV which I put up with because it's a different site.

Please can we have our old forum back. Jeez what is happening - first the reputations now the forum.... Angry Brit..

It really doesn't work that way. When you upgrade this software there isn't no testing that you can do. Don't worry it will all be fixed. At least it is working.

With forum software, it's kind of like moving into a 'new-build' house. Everyone gets the same sized rooms, layout and decor, and then you gradually decorate it to your own tastes and make adjustments like knocking a wall out or adding a conservatory. Within a matter of time it looks the way that you want it to. Obviously, there are some things that you might not be able to change - like a window being in the wrong place - or you might long for that quirky little fireplace that you had in the old house, but after time, it will soon feel like home again!

We upgraded to this over at JustUsBoys a couple of months ago, and the only fly in the ointment for many members was the different way of adding images to a post. Most of the benefits aren't noticable to the members - it's the behind the scenes stuff and how things work where the biggest improvements are - although you should notice that the speed improves. I still don't think the colours are right over at JustUsBoys but that's just my OCD about 'corporate' image and branding!

Hey JLipps. Try going up to "quick links" and clicking on "Today's Posts", I think that is what used to be "New Posts" in the old format.

I am with you on the changes, I have my fingers crossed and a prayer chain started, in hopes that they are going back to the old color scheme.

I've just logged on and it would appear that what I'm seeing is different to what you were 20mins ago - so it's changing all the time. As I've said elsewhere (and I appreciate that I'm only a 'newbie', but) it will take a while to fine tune it to what it needs to be. The 'skin' may need more time as the old one was a very custom built one from the looks of it, so that may need some extra time - if it can be done. As I say, a new house doesn't decorate itself overnight...
