I went to his website for a visit. Nicely and professionally done. Just starting out so just a few models and from my perspective none who lights my fire. Of course for me the big curiosity is who is funding this. Given comments he made during his time here, I cannot believe he is exactly rolling in dough. So unless Broke Straight Boys was paying its models a helluva lot more money than I would ever have thought; or he had a rich relative who died and left him a piss-pot full of money; or he won the lottery, then I presume he has been fronted the money and I doubt it was a bank like First National City Bank (bank's name a shout out to mikey - lol !!!)

No place on the home page of the site where you could see an entity's name other than his own, Kafig Ent. Given everything we've heard from Broke Straight Boys management and other industry professionals about the difficulties facing the web porn industry, it's hard to believe that someone like Cage Kafig with limited (to say the least) resources could enter that market on his own dime.

In any event, just my curious side (to use Pittsburghese - nebby) coming out. But maybe someday one of the porn gossip sites or bloggers will find out. In any event, I wish him well in his new venture. He was always one of my Broke Straight Boys favorites.

My guess is that someone is paying him to use his name. I am not the porn aficionado that some of my colleagues here are, but when some Broke Straight Boys models jumped ship to join a site called Dallas Reeves, I was informed that Dallas Reeves was a porn star who had backers that used his name to begin a site and perhaps the same is being done with Cage Kafig. As an example years after Mickey Mantle retired, a restaurant opened up on Central Park West called "Mickey Mantle's" where he often appeared and would meet and greet patrons, but did not have a piece of the action, and so it is not uncommon for someone famous in their field to use their celebrity to promote a new business. Again, pure speculation on my part.

P.S. First National City Bank was the original name of Citibank. lol

As to your main observation, an interesting one and I agree that it seems to be the most plausible given what we presume are the circumstances leading to its creation. (Maybe it is a straight site that wants to get into the gay area but doesn't want to "sully" its name be being associated with gay porn). I'd just like to know whom.

I concur with that sentiment! He's just not very good at it....yet! If he'd only learn to relax and let it happen! I know he's got a "spot" cause, Romeo found it once!
