Hey guys,

From Tom's (aka thomas1023) earlier posting got me watching a load of Flash Mobs on YouTube. A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and pointless act for a brief time, then disperse. I love the music and dancing as it cannot but make you happy!

Has anyone been in or seen a flash mob? What is your favourite? What makes a great flash mob?

And I like the 2009 New York 8th annual No Pants Subway ride for obvious reasons. Oh and for Jon, pants in this flash mob means trousers not underpants, just so you don't get too excited by the anticipation. :wink:

I was just on a NYC subway, less than an hour ago, and everybody had their pants on. I guess I got on the wrong car. :wink:

That was a fine video, but it would have been better with more guys in their underwear. :biggrin:
 
I doubt anyone has an attention span to see this through but I was riveted the first time and it terrified me - until I read the credits. This is a

You're right, absolutely riveting. With your caveat I twigged when he went overboard on the death toll. Bright guy, really in tune with the zeitgeist.
 
yes lovelumps! You need to start watching! I myself am not much into the comedy genre, but Modern Family and Raising Hope have got to be the funniest comedies on TV right now.
As for the Flash Mobs, I was very intrigued by the supermarket one, and loved the Black Eyed Peas on Oprah.

Just added it to my Netflix queue! Can't wait:) I've watched a couple of episodes of Raising Hope, really funny stuff. I'm a huge Glee fan, it's actually the only show I watch, so I have room for another one or two!
 
oh wow! I had not noticed that you are Canadian,undie. I love anything Canadian; Canadian men, Canadian women, Canadian cities, Canadian Bacon, etc, etc. I have visited several times and one item on my bucket list, is to cross Canada by train.
 
even better Jlips, he's aussie ;) (no offense to the Canadians, but the Aussies I've met tend to be more fun loving...although I love my Canadian neighbors to the north as well..) Bet Undie would be as fun in Canada as he is in Australia...
 
I am snowed in today, so I just watched all the Modern Families that I haven't seen. I don't usually watch sitcom's, but this one is great.:thumbup:

Jlipps, I also went a little Flash Mob crazy, but I think I stayed out of addiction territory.:wink:
