Well I have finally managed to get back online after nearly two weeks with no internet and just watched Richie and Ethan. Ethan really has not improved, I can see from other reviewers that they liked this scene, frankly it was mediocre at best. Richie did a Stirling job but even his skills couldn't make this a classic scene. In fact I felt sorry for Richie as he seem to have to do most of the work in the first half of the scene, while Ethan mumbled some incoherent words and sat back and thought of the easy money he was making. Yes second half saw Ethan fucking Richie as if there was no tomorrow but that was it, a few different positions but sorry same old boring Ethan style that I have come to expect from his scene. This boy needs to look up the word variety and take on board its meaning, at least if he had rimmed Richie it would have been different but no wam bam thank you mame bog standard fuck. I think my exasperation has now reached its limit.

As far as Ethan goes your exasperation level may not need to be distressed anymore. According to our resident keeper of the records, Jay, this may have been the last scene of Ethan's two sessions at Broke Straight Boys to be released, and so your "nightmare" may be over. And when asked about his return to the site, Sha told us that Ethan has requested a return visit but that management has not yet extended the invitation. And so that may be the end of the Ethan Steel era on Broke Straight Boys, which saddens me, but I fully understand that there is a varied audience here with varied desires in what a "straight" boy should be and majority rules and if Ethan's numbers are not high enough to justify a third round of scenes, I am at least grateful that they still do allow "my kind" of straight boy on the site from time to time. I will miss his presence on Broke Straight Boys, but I will get over it. lol

Thanks Mikeyank for the update it is appreciated. What I find really galling about Ethan is that unlike majority of the models he just does not seem to have got off base camp and while I appreciate members like your good self enjoy his performance for me there needs to be some variety in the act otherwise why bother filming multiple scenes doing the same thing we may as well have watched his first scene over and over. I feel sorry for his screen partners because ultimately the ratings for their scenes are going to go down because of Ethan, yes they have individual scores but the scene score is based on both performers and if one is poor the whole scene score gets reflected this way. I am surprised that Ethan came back twice. However if this was his last scene then I wish him well for the future.

LOL resident keeper here at your service. Actually, I think Ethan Steel has at least one scene left with Max Jay and possibly one with Elijah Scott, but I don’t think that happened for obvious reasons. I just don’t think either gave up the ass, but I could be wrong. Elijah did tilt that ass up for Max Jay to eat, so maybe Elijah gave it up. That’s always been a “???” scene for me.
Mikeyank I told you once, and you thought I could be wrong, that Ethan Steel filmed all of his scenes before he ever had a chance to see any of his feedback. He was only at the house twice, and I think (based on my research) that the second week wrapped before his first scene with Jos Alvarez was ever released. I personally think that he should be invited back and given another chance. If I am correct, I don’t think it is really fair that he never really knew what any of us were thinking when he was filming. Malakai had quite a few scenes released before he was invited back a second time, and he commented on the forum that he agreed with everyone’s comments about him being so loud. So when his new scenes finally release, I’m expecting a quieter Malakai, and if so, Ethan Steel should be allowed a redemption trip...LOL. Ethan could bend over the arm of the sofa and stick that furry asshole up in the air and let someone eat it. With that said, his scene with Max Jay, resident ass eater, hasn’t released yet so that could be happening. Also, Cody Smith saw that everyone hated his hair, so he cut it before he came back a second time. I think Ethan deserves redemption. There are small things he could do without bottoming that I think would make most people happier. Lose the tude, loosen up, & add slower strokes. Eat some ass, give a creampie, do SOMETHING that would turn the party.

Yes. You saw the same scene I did. While it was not a bad scene, I felt it was mediocre. That's why I didn't comment on it afterwards.

Amen to that! Ethan did improve a little after his first couple scenes. Since then however, I feel like the old cliché fits. That if I've seen one of his vids, I've seen them all. And I admit that I am downright a little bit sad about that. Because I really like him! Having improved on maintaining better erections, becoming at least a little bit less wooden in his affect, and thankfully getting into more genuine kissing, i.e., with tongue...I feel like he has hit a wall and given predictable cookie cutter scenes since then. Many guys in their home lives have their sexual repertoires with private partners from which they vary very little. And possibly what we see from Ethan now is very similar to the way he has sex with women (and possibly a few lucky guys he doesn't want anyone to know about) at home.

Nothing wrong or unusual in having one's preferred private go-to method for having sex. But of course in order to make it in porn, where you want people to want to continue watching you have sex...and you want them to pay for the privilege...it involves a fair degree of acting and improvisation to keep things fresh and unpredictable for the viewer.

I know many of us have called for him to bottom. But even I personally am not insistent on that. There is more he could do (without having to bottom) to liven up his scenes in order to inject more energy, less predictability and more sexual tension. I agree with what you said, Jay. I was just as harsh a critic as everyone else here about Ethan's on-screen attitude but if he never heard the criticisms then he never had the chance to respond to them Of course, he could have said, "Screw that. That's just the way I am." and that could have been the end of him. If he really wanted to listen and change how he appeared on-screen then he really got sold short. That's a big problem with scheduling scene releases so out of sync with shoot weeks. What good is it to have our comments about models on the forum if they don't get a chance see them?

Yes. There were quite a few models that I know I rated in the past and the scores I gave them are no longer there. To be honest, there were more models that I had to rescore than not. Unless there is a save button that I’m not aware of, I click my score and when the star turns blue it is recorded, correct? There were a couple of guys I still had scores for, but honestly most were gone.

Very strange we have never had anyone tell us about this issue. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I think Oldfart said some of his were missing as well. It happened on quite a few of the models’ individual profile pages, and it’s happened on a lot of scenes as well. I think Mikeyank has checked and his were fine, but honestly, I don’t know how many other members have gone back to check.

I have no problem "losing" the ratings on any model I've rated over the years, going all the way back to the early days. I just checked and they are all still there. I do find that I am sometimes surprised to see what I rated years ago as I have a different opinion today, and I change my score, but on the old models, one vote one way or the other doesn't move the needle at all. But on a brand new guy it is easy to change the score with one vote as there are so few votes cast. But my ratings still show up years later, as I voted for them.

ah ok, which is logical, meaning, if you rated a 2006 scene all 5s, but re-watched it today, you (more likely than not), will have a different score for the scene, as our tastes, or what we 'look for' in a scene to contain, has changed.
