Edit timeout change

Per Robert (rrhill) suggestion, changed the timeout on editing a forum post to 60 minutes. Was 5 before. Thanks Robert for the idea.

Having been here "forever", I recall when we were able to edit or delete our posts and threads with no time limitation, but one lunatic in particular used to rant and rave, and when the heat was put on him, and he was called out on his outrageous comments, he would delete the entire thread and all of our comments went with the deletion. Mark then put the time limitation on edits and deletions. I assume that what Mark is talking about by "abuse".

Just like with security in airports, 99.9% of the people have to suffer inconvenience because of a very small group of people who are up to no good. I'm glad we have more time to edit. I just have to hope now that everyone behaves themselves. Fingers crossed. lol

For my part, I always use the "preview post" button to view and edit my posting's before I hit the submit button. It lets you see how your post will appear, you can proofread it, (which I wish some people would do before posting because the grammer, punctuation and spelling on some posts is atrocious and it is hard to make any sense of it) But then again, that's just me being anal. So the extended edit time won't matter to me. We'll see how it plays out. - J
