Let me start by saying that everyone is entitled to their opinion.
This scene worked for me on several levels.
First, all the models were attractive and interesting to look at and watch. Duncan, to me, is a free spirit and what I enjoy most about his performances is that I am never quite sure what is going to happen next and what he will do. That uncertainty adds sexual tension to the scene that enhances it.
Adam is probably the most difficult for me because he is not very demonstrative; yet, he is certainly is a pretty package to look at. He seemed to react quickly to the opportunity to seduce his pizza delivery boy; but, still waters run deep and what is going on in his head is a mystery. A nice mystery, I might add.
Finally, Connor played his part perfectly with that startled look and expression on his face and in his demeanor. In the scene, his motivation was to please his customers for the bigger tip. In the real world, we know Connor was trying to make an impression with his first scene. Yet, it is all a bit confusing and new. From what we saw on the video, I do not know what his actual experience was. I am amused by what other viewers read into that. I thought he played the role of the ingenue or charming innocent very nicely.
I think this scene holds up very well in the Broke Straight Boys body of work.
Technically, the sound was fine (with a bit of a background hum that might have just been air conditioning). The HD film work is gorgeous and really shows the models off to their fullest.
