Draven and Gage...

First of all, I'm not convinced that Draven will be back to film more scenes, for as I mentioned previously Sha referred to his scene with Drake as being "the other day", and that was released on August 5th, so Draven hasn't been filming since July but if he does come back, I will cheerlead for keeping him a top. Sis Boom Ba. Top Top Top Yeah Draven!!!!!

I'll just say how I rated the scene and the rest of this post is just an observation (and rant) that you need not read as I continue to have a tendency to "Rex Reed" my reviews.

5 Stars - Gage Owens!
5 Stars - Draven
3 Stars - Scene (I failed to appreciate the camera work)

NOW - just move on to the next post unless curious about perspectives that ramble about my brain then flow through my fingers onto the keyboard...

I could not get into the forum last night (don't know why, must have been a glitch somewhere between here and there as I have an access page that saves my login info which has always worked - and just did again). I was able to watch the scene. I rated it differently than many of those who have added comments all prior to me. I chalk that up to what I've grown used to as a newbie here versus those of you who've been long-time members who watched the first "Broke Straight Boys" come into the studios and do things as a straight guy after being tempted with some good amount of cash that would allow them to "quick fix" a need for cash or suffer dire consequences like: lose their lease or not pay for tuition or even buy diapers for their child.

For me, I suppose seeing Kurt Wilde on that Tyra Banks' show explaining the concept of "gay for pay" and why he, as a straight married man with children, was willing to bottom for cash, was enough of an answer to watch anything that had a guy who said he is straight do almost anything for cash (until I met Jimmy Johnson as I began going through the archives from the very beginning.) So, I appreciate the guys who do maintain "limits" about how far they will go unless offered a "ridiculous" amount of cash - ie.: $10K in JJ's case.

Draven was very convincing to me as the guy in the mirror that, when he (Draven) looked into it, reflected Jimmy looking back. Ahhh, a guy who will stand ground on predetermined and non-negotiable limits. (Now, he's already 25, right? But, never seen gay-for-pay internet porn? I find that inconceivable - but a cute story line for the scene and setting up fantasy to water the mouths of countless members who hope to witness a bonafide straight guy succumb to cash.

I am convinced that Gage Owens is the "perfect bait" as the straight guy who has gone "Kurt Wilde" (although, unlike Wilde, Gage Owens is versatile). Who could resist Gage Owens? I don't think I could. And, as a gay man, I do have some personal limits that I might be willing to throw aside if Gage Owens was ever an option! (Reality check: that is just MY fantasy so know I don't/won't ever have to test my boundaries.)

So, after blah, blah, blah, I say I gave both guys 5 bright baby blue stars. The scene though, a 3. The camera work did not succeed or deliver for me. Yes, both guys were hot and into each other. They both set out to please one another AND THEY DID! But the camera work - too many arms in the way prevented capture of visuals I hoped to see. I still am an advocate of opening up that futon and using a bed; and sticking a pillow under the bottom's ass to allow better access and views. So, my personal wished for expectations were not met. Hence, the 3.

(This is an addendum that states an observation I have come to realize is a path or pattern several models have taken: The hope/wish for a BSB1 model reveals is evident from posts above. The observation that Mikeyank made about the sequencing made me do a bit of analysis of those who show for scenes and then "disappear'. If those models have hopes of making a living through doing porn need to have assurances of fairly consistent work. That's why one can see them pop up on other sites during the "down times" between studio options. Will he return? Maybe there is something on the shelves at Broke Straight Boys If not, and his appetite has been wet, what's a guy to do?)

Who really knows when they are filmed and/or how long they are held in the can? Plus with a model's personal and/or other work schedules, a model can be busy and not be available for several months. Time will tell, but given mgmnt's track record with popular models, nothing is guaranteed and I'm not optimistic.

Of course another1 has his own sophisticated method of seeing a number on the scene, (which I've never figured out), so he knows the exact sequence of filming.

While I do like management to be more forthcoming at times about the "master plan", I also appreciate the dribs and drabs of information that provide clues for me, much like the breadcrumb trail left behind by Hansel and Gretel. lol

yes, I still get the episode id number. no, there is no gap, in the number system between drake and Gage Owens. there is one number missing, at the end. I am hoping it is the scene I mentioned. Zander Floyd or Jason. it could be a bts episode, or not exist, or will not appear.
