Hum I was on AOL when I first discovered the internet. I actually thought AOL was the internet for awhile. I remember going to a place called PersianKitty.com which was a straight porn site with a bunch of links.

I was late to the internet around 2000, and used my dial up modem too and searched straight guys having gay sex and found stuff like “Like Em Straight“, and even bought a subscription for a year or so, but then a few years later my search found a site called “Broke Straight Boys”, and I’ve subscribed ever since.

Same. I thought AOL was the internet. Still have my aol email. I loved instant messenger and all the chat rooms

Back in 1996 I wanted a boyfriend and everyone on AOL just wanted sex so I decided to sell sex. AOL is the reason I started my first xxx website.
The internet opened to the public in the late 90's, prior to that it was the exclusive province of the government and universities. I started usinf it as an undergrad in 1964 & as grad student in 1965. As soon as it became available I went on & when the first gay porn site opened I joined in 1998, As with Broke Straight Boys I am still a member of that site.

Hm... not really. I remember the message board I was on where the guy who catfished me, "Sam", entered my life.
I don't remember the timeline with Google or the like, but I remember doing some kind of search early after getting my first computer, and even though I was the only user, I was terrified by doing something so daring. I remember seeing a picture of two young men having sex... and they were facing each other!!!! MIND BLOWN

I remember on AOL when I received my first picture from somebody who asked if I wanted to trade pics. It took about 5 minutes but saw my first picture over the actual internet then.
