Discuss: Historical Figure you'd like to meet

I would like to sit down with three people. First would be Grand Master Phi Lu he is one of my spirit guides that works with me in my healing work and assists me in my spiritual readings. He only tells me what I need to know to do what I need to do nothing more. Occasionally in meditation I get more. He is always taking me into different realms of consciousness as far as the 9th dimensional plane to receive wisdom and guidance from the council of 12. I would like to have a better grasp of the council of 12 and the 12 rays they represent. As near as I have gone so far is, they represent 12 of the 24 Elders that surround the throne of God. I do understand a bit more than this however it is more intrinsic knowing and less scientific. So, I have lots of questions to bring into the light.

Jesus the Christ. I would like to ask if his death and resurrection was physical or spiritual. I believe that he is and was as much the son of God as we all are. I believe that his life and his death was to show us the spiritual path of ascension. I also, believe that he wanted us to know that all things are possible and that we can perform healing and many other miracles in much the same way as he did. I would also like to finally put an end to some of this madness perpetrated by the known religions that have emerged and see if peace is really possible through that living testament of truth. Hopefully we won't crucify him again for teaching/preaching against the Levitical order. I guess it depends on how the Pope and the other religious orders feel about the truth. However; it would be great to just get some of that mess cleared up.

Nichola Tessla, I would love to ask questions about quantum physics and the true nature of the Universe. I have learned a lot from the Book of Urantia that I would love to ask questions about. I would also like to discuss possible solutions for Earth and how to manage and control the weather to minimize catastrophic events from happening. I know he would have all of the answers. I think I would also to like to find out how he really felt about Thomas Edison, and Albert Einstein. Maybe even Mr. Westinghouse, Mr. Rockefeller, and of course the dear Mr. J.P. Morgan.

Lets see here, if I could meet an influential or famous/infamous person from the past i would choose Sir Isaac Newton. His teachings on astrophysics and mathematics changed the course of humanity as we know it today. He was a pioneer of his age and well beyond his time. His knack for speaking out on scientific fact vs church doctrine knowing fully what the consequences were for herecy was both courageous and admirable.

Lets see here, if I could meet an influential or famous/infamous person from the past i would choose Sir Isaac Newton. His teachings on astrophysics and mathematics changed the course of humanity as we know it today. He was a pioneer of his age and well beyond his time. His knack for speaking out on scientific fact vs church doctrine knowing fully what the consequences were for herecy was both courageous and admirable.

Markymark is right the whole series is worthwhile. The Joshua series takes a different look at Yeshua ben Yosef and how he would confront modern life. It is quite a refreshing look at "What would Jesus do?" (although the books came first).

It is very difficult to narrow down my selection of notoriety to just one sole individual. From literary greats as William Shakespeare to Edgar A. Poe to Mark Twain, or to Political Icons who thrived against unsurmountable adversities to triumph over them like The founding fathers of the usa to Martin Luther King Jr to Harriet Tubman to ...... . Just too many to chose from.......

I had thought of Harriet Tubman also. She was very brave to have done all that she did. She was one of the greats in the era of the Underground Railroad. She was illiterate yet extremely smart and wise to the ways of the world in which she found herself. One of my favorite stories about her that I learned in grade school was how she escaped apprehension one time. She was in an unfriendly town where men were scouring the streets looking for her because she was known to be in the area. There were posters and rewards for her capture all over the South. She knew that they had been told that she was illiterate. When a large group of hostile men came upon her she had already picked up a newspaper and pretended to be reading it. They knew the negro woman they were looking for couldn't read so they left her alone and moved on in their search.

It is hard to nail down only one or even a few great people throughout history to choose from. There're so many.

I think our dear Tesla might have some very earthy, folksy, and unscientific adjectives to describe some of the latter people whom you mention. But Tesla would be great to meet. The chance to pick his brain would be a privilege.

I'm an atheist, but I would like to sit down with Jesus, Mahammed, Buddha and other religious figures that did walk the earth and were/are believed by others to be prophets, son-of-god, etc. I bet they'd all get along really well - unlike some of their followers.

Tampa, Gremlin, and Slimvintage I so agree. I picked my top three people because I felt that I could cover a bit broader spectrum. Phi Lu would alswys be on my list. I never get a straight answer regarding what his purpose is, why me, and most importantly who the heck were you before ascension? All I really ever get is the old I AM that, I AM. LOL I also get the that he was an old Shaolin High Priest and Master Fighting Monk. He had mastered the art of manipulating his Chi. And could do things like George Lucas Jedi's masters. I als o know he was physically blind yet he could see all of the Universe. So, that is why he tops my list. Like you and Gremlin the list is huge. LOL

Hi guys! How about a discussion of which historical figure you'd like to meet and why...

I don't now why but I've always wanted to meet Nebuchadnezzar. Something sparked my imagination back in Sunday School, I guess. The only other thing I can think of is I'd like to be outside Marilyn's house on the night she died, just to see if a Kennedy or the Mafia had anything to do with her death...
