Les Miserables comes to Broke Straight Boys

I find it ironic that some members feel Mike is a bit malnourished. That is what happens when people have no safetynet to fill in the gaps. After 1 1/2 years of no work, "Poverty" naturally raises its ugly head. When we call ourself Broke Straight Boys, one had to assume that we normally think "Broke" is a more middle-class person, whereas Mike represents the under-class(poverty level) that we so want not to see. Broke for middle class guys means that they are momentarily our of dough. In Michael's case, the momentary aspect is not even there and it ceases to be "so cute" to be "truly broke for 1 1/2 years".

I wish Mike the best of luck. He has a dick that many people would be proud to have and hold. Furthermore, I think his cumshot was really quite voluminous and did a lot more than some than barely dribble-out one drop at a time. Keep up the good work!!!

I was thinking the same thing, that maybe he's so thin because he hasn't had enough money to buy decent food. There are also a lot of younger guys who have a very high metabolism and no matter how much they eat they stay thin. He could also be a runner, a lot of runners have that type of body. I haven't watched the scene but you guys may be right about Mike. I remember well my starving college student days. There were times that even with financial aid and all of that that I only got one meal a day. Being broke and impoverished is no laughing matter if you can't afford decent food. But, I'll give him a lot of credit for going through with the entire scene. Clay was very good with him and, as it turned out, I liked the scene a lot. Hopefully, we will see more of Mike. The scene title I thought was a bit over the top. Desperate is not a word I take lightly or use casually. If, in fact, this young man is desperate, then I hope we will all wish him the very best. He seems like a nice guy who needs a break. Maybe, if mikeyank is not correct, Broke Straight Boys can provide him some funding so that he can begin to get back on his feet. I wish him well.

I havn't watched this either. But surely that's the point of him being at Broke Straight Boys - to do films to get funding. They're no charity - otherwise the house would be filled with all the bums off the street.

Whenever I see someone I assume to be homeless, I always make it a point to humbly reflect on their situation, rather than commenting on their apparent inability to raise themself up from their sense of hopelessness. I realize it would not take that much for me to find myself in a similar situation.

I want to commend Clay for the sensitivity he obviously expressed in the way he introduced Mike to us. I think it is among lifes most important attributes to give the downtrodden the respect they fully deserve as one of God's creations and not merely write them off as individuals, as others less intuitive might otherwise be tempted to do! A little human kindness and compassion goes a long way!

Looking at the upcoming film schedule it looks as if the predictions were true and that the failed Lucas duo was indeed with Mike. Well you can't win them all.
