You're right, Beth. When the models treat the scene as another day at the office, it comes across to the viewer as just another day at the office. There were no new experiences for either of them. The opening did not set a good stage for this video. It was lifeless and seemed confusing for the models especially Denver's hesitation as if looking for direction from Clay. However, once they got going, it flowed very nicely. In the end, I thought it was very good. (But, if Denver is in it I'd think that anyway) Denver is so comfortable in his own skin and is able to project that comfort level and enthusiasm directly to the camera. It's no wonder he will be on the Broke Straight Boys TV show. Adam has come a long ways, but he needs to take a lesson or two from Denver about working in front of a camera. One pet peeve I have is that the pre-scene photos don't match the action once the camera is rolling. All-in-all, I enjoyed it a lot. JOb well done!

One of the best things fro me about Denver is his face is so expressive and he is committed to putting on a good show. I totally agree with Beth that the camera angles have been routine and boring often times the camera is either too far away or too close and there has not been much variety. Ive said it before the videos look like clay is bored with his job and a lot of times he's just phoning it in. Sometimes when the video is boring I don't think it's the models fault I think it's the lack of direction or maybe too much direction like do it this way and don't vary from the script. Following the wise counsel of some of my fellow forumites who have been around for a long time, long ago I decided not to have expectations of what a scene will be like based on the models involved.

Having said that, and given the models involved, and having watched the scene, this video could have been and should have been hotter. These two guys are amongst my top favorites on the site. But from the opening shot, they seemed tired and were lethargic throughout. Even Denver's usual witty charm wasn't up to its usual funniest level. And his muscle tone needs some work - back to the gym, Denver!

When I was but a child, we had paint by the numbers. And that's what this scene reminded me of - suck and fuck by the numbers.

I gave it a 3 - average in my grading system.

You stated it perfectly Jon! Two good models (love them both) but something was definitely missing. I'd rather not see models kissing, if it is prearranged, that they will. To really be hot, kissing should be spontaneous. Given these two models, this scene had the potential to be off the charts good.
I enjoyed watching these two boys, I always do, but this scene will not be a "5", nor will it be added as a favorite, not for me.

Closeup shots: Remember Miami Studios?

One of the worst things a camera operator or editor can do, in my opinion, is to include closeups that last for what seems like forever. Miami Studios used to be the worst violator of this, and sometimes a closeup shot could last for over 5 minutes. My big beef with closeup-shots is that you can't see who is doing what to whom. I like shots where I can see all of the person's body having sex, especially their facial reactions (outstanding facial expressions while fucking is commonly known in the industry as "giving good face") But I also want to see asses, feet, and everything else. Favorite position: having the bottom on their back with their feet/legs high up in the air, especially when they're gettin' rimmed!
