I do get away from the keyboard......once in a while.............and believe me that boys who look like Elyot's and Peter's look-alikes are not interested in an "older" gentleman such as myself. Been there and done that when I was younger, but I am content to have the memories and the internet........but that's okay.

I knew you meant the guy in the pic. I was just saying mine wasn't. He was born in America and doesn't have an English accent. I wish he did I'm a sucker for English accents.

I once had an English boyfriend. I was 29, (I remember exactly, because it was the day after Yankee catcher Thurman Munson died in a plane crash). I was in Provincetown on Cape Cod, and learned the news passing a newsstand that morning on Commercial Street. My first instinct was to drive home as I was sharing season tickets with my buddy Tim that year and wanted to go back for that first game at the Stadium after his tragic passing. But I realized that I was on vacation, had paid for a room at a gay guest house and decided to stay.
That same afternoon, I was at Tea Dance at the Boat Slip and saw Robin, early 20's, blonde and smooth and we hooked up and had a summer fling as he was visiting from England for the summer, staying in Manhattan and was up in P-town with a friend. I loved a lot about him, but especially his English accent and I learned some expressions like going to the loo and to queue up for a movie and the like.
