I figured it was probably something along the lines of syphilis or all the usual pre-AIDS suspects we used to call venereal diseases. If it was completely a lab mistake and a false positive on a test, then they still would have been able to film in a scene or two. The evidence we had at the time on the show that something really was amiss with his STD tests was that they couldn't and didn't use him in any new scenes even much later closer to the end of the series. Again if Jimmy was signed as an actor to appear on the Reality TV Show, why was he selected out of all the great current models on the show, like Damien Kyle, Paul Canon, Johnny Forza, etc. Why was he the one to film an actual porn scene years after he left the show in a hotel room? To me it was all contrived for drama, including Sha whipping his ell phone out of his pocket just as Clay was ready to shoot, with Sabrina, back at home in Colorado, with a microphone pm her, plaintively saying "We have a problem". If you believe everything else, why didn't they get official clearance from the testing lab before they were ready to shoot the scene? What if Sha didn't answer the phone? They would have shot a scene with a model with VD???? I don't buy any of it. It was a reality TV Show and like all of them, this was all for dramatic effect. (In my opinion).

Before they gave him his final paycheck and fired him, for some undisclosed stunt he pulled in the house that he got caught red-handed by the cameras on, Sha said on camera to Mark something along the lines of, "What is he still doing here at this point anyway?" I took that to mean that he had already been creating excessive dissension, drama and mischief in the house even by Jimmy standards. And the other factor I considered very likely at the time was that he wasn't medically cleared to safely have sex in any porn scenes anyway. Again, Jimmy was hired to raise hell and cause mischief. I strongly believe he filmed his allotted episodes of the TV Show and the script called for him to sail off when he did.....

He was the straight guy with a girlfriend and kids and I knew people wouldn't like him but he would be a lot of drama and he was. Most of the drama surrounding him wasn't even staged. When Sabrina and him got into it that was not staged as well and him not getting along with Cage Kafig. Just how the show played out and it was great for tv haha

Mark, I finished my long detailed reply to Tampa before I saw your post. You said "most" of the drama around him wasn't even staged. I can't argue with you about what was and what was not staged as it was your TV show and you were there for the filming, and I am just a member of the audience.

However you confirm my over-all point that Jimmy was hired to be the villain and not to be liked, and you had him in mind from the beginning to come back out of Broke Straight Boys retirement to be on the show. Jimmy knew exactly how to play it, and all these years later he is still the most talked about member of the cast. Love him or hate him, people notice him. Jimmy was the star of the series!!!!! :smiley-love021:

I don't remember her being labeled an Ex-Girlfriend. Maybe they were technically broken up. I don't remember. And I don't care enough to go back into the videos to find out. There were ample clues that there was a lot of tension and heavy emotional baggage in their relationship. She certainly seemed more invested in him than an ex would be. But with multiple kids by him, who knows. She did say something like she didn't care if it was guys he was fucking at these studios or even sheep. (As in neither was acceptable to her and she wasn't a homophobe.) She said that the only person he should be having sex with is Her, privately at home. And without a camera. That doesn't sound like the words or attitude of someone who considered such a guy an ex. (Even if she was pissed off at him and might have been on the outs with him at the time.)

As far as what I wrote above, for the most part I was just relying on what played out on the show to form my own observations and conclusions. We are free to ponder among ourselves how much of the drama might have been legitimate or fake. In the post above though neither of us will ever be able to fully prove whether I was completely duped by a scripted drama. Just as you will never be able to fully prove that it was all fake and Jimmy was much more innocent of any bad behaviors. I would have to give Sabrina an award for acting if the tension and very bad blood between her and Jimmy was all an act. She sure looked like she couldn't stand him. haha And yes. The animosity between them seemed mutual.

Every good show needs a good protagonist and he fit the fill. It was nice to see him again. I really liked the show and can't understand why someone didn't pick it up. When I look at some of the dreck that's on TV these days I'm shocked. This is a hell of a lot better show than most of what Bravo is producing.

Hey speaking of Bravo oh man I'd love to see you take some of the boys on a cruise on Below Deck man that would be an episode to remember.

I would be interested to know if any models have contacted Broke Straight Boys during this economic time and asked if they could come back and shoot a few scenes. You know.....desperate for some cash. Maybe Benjamin needs to buy some diapers for that new baby. Or maybe Landon and Jake are available now. This would be a great time to see some beautiful familiar faces. Just saying.

This Coronovirus is going to hit everything til we have a vaccine. Problem is that is probably two years away and people can't live in isolated shells for two years, not mentally healthy. Will lead to depression, suicide, alcohol abuse, partner abuse, drug abuse and you name it. I know I am missing social intimacy. Here in Orlando for a few weeks with my kids and feel so much better. Am going to hook up with a fuck buddy. I really need a man.
