Mark and Clay...I'm sorry, but there is no longer any excuse for the low audio levels in these scenes. It is not rocket science. A simple VU meter in post production will tell the editors and engineers what is an acceptable volume level. There is a long list of audio amplifiers for cheap
money to lift the audio levels. After nearly 30 years of working with audio, I find this inexcusable. If a boom mic or two are needed, simply run them through a small mixer to reach the needed gain. Many of us have commented on this several times and nothing seems to come from the numerous complaints. Audio levels are taught in broadcast 101. I'm sorry to be expressing my feelings this way, but enough is enough.

As for Corey, I found him to be a nice young man in some sexy Puma undies and one who deserves an opportunity to develop on Broke Straight Boys He's got many of the attributes to be successful here. I hope he is given a chance to do just that. However, the membership needs to be able to hear the exchange between Clay and the model. Please address this issue immediately as my frustration level has gotten much higher than the audio level.

All of the scenes with the sound issues that I've noticed so far have been the ones filmed during that month. Even though we are still putting up with poor audio from scenes filmed in January, I believe they really have fixed the sound issues in the videos filmed since then. So there's hope for the future. haha

Dear Tampa and Peter, You are very observant. I had not noticed the dates of the scenes. However, Broke Straight Boys has known for some time that there has been an audio issue and yet they continue to post them. It's a simple process to dub the scene and raise the audio level. I know I was harsh in my critique, but in this day and age, there is absolutely no excuse for poor audio or video quality. So, thank you for pointing out the fact that these scenes were probably produced during a time when..whatever.. was going on in post production. But, to my way of thinking, that does not justify that three months later they are still being put up for clients to struggle with.
