Its the thought that counts, but then again maybe its not. WTF!!!

Dear Tampa,

I guess with my puny 2200+ posts, this is as near to "Penis Envy" I can get without having a personal relationship with you and not knowing your dick's serial number nor lengthy "bar code"! Congratulations with your frequent-flyer credentials. That is the best form of "Street Cred" you can get on the Forum!

Sincerely envious,

Stimpy :angeldevil:

Oh my Tampa, how impressive...do you think I can touch it sometime?!:001_rolleyes:

Thank you all for all those funny posts and all those warm words of congratulations. xoo And thank you Jon for starting the thread. That was very sweet of you. xo

Jon is quite right that I was in church yesterday morning and had a very full day. Unfortunately I was not home for more than 15 minutes yesterday (to pack an overnight bag) after going to church. I have a friend in Hospice who is very very close to making the transition to the next plane. (Lung cancer) Another friend and I slept in chairs in his room (getting about 2 1/2 hours of sleep each) because we really thought he would pass by 6:00 am this morning. He was still barely hanging on when I left at 7:00. After a power nap and a doctor appt for me, I'll be heading on back.

Thanks so much though to all of you. You gave me something to smile about when I dragged myself in this morning. :)

Thank you so much for caring for your friend! I hope when my time comes that I will have someone so loving and caring to help me on my way. God Bless you, your friend who is helping, and your friend who is passing, God's speed for him.

And congrats on your achievement here on the forum, you are a pillar, and a fine example of a man!

Tampa,

Congratulations on post # 6,000. Are your fingers tired of typing? Or have you gone to using your toes to type. Your 6,000 posts must equal around 75,000 words or more. I think you a life!!

Jayman would be very proud of you and next time I talk with him I share this story.

For those you commented about Tampa the super nice guy, I can tell you one thing more. He is even nicer and kinder in person.

ONCE AGAIN, GREAT JOB TAMPA. KEEP THOSE TOES GOING!

Live Long and Prosper,

Vicekid

Our prayers for a peaceful transition for your friend, Tampa!

Thank you all for being so kind. He passed late yesterday morning. He was unconscious and on a morphine drip. He looked very peaceful and pain-free all of the last 8 days of his life. I can't say enough good things about Hospice. They're all wonderful people.

Sorry to hear about that my friend. It does remind me of course of the passing of my father almost 3 years back and our equivelent to Hospice were such a help. They are indeed wonderful people, just as you are a wonderful person. xxx
