Are those the only 3 comments showing for you? Because I left a comment.

Mark - not too long ago on another thread ( I believe it was a scene thread) you also raised this issue of commenting on the scene page being more important than commenting on the forum. I asked why. And you answered, though I can't remember it.

So once again would you be kind enough to explain to us why commenting on the scene page is more important and informative to you in management than commenting on the forum only. What data does the number of comments on the scene page give you and what and how does it aid you in management regarding scene planning and model retention and callback, or the lack thereof.

Thank you.

Sure. If you comment on the actual scene page it stays there forever and remains on the tour page. If you comment on the forum it will stay there but threads get lost because there is over 200k posts on the message board.

Thanks,
Mark

HI Mark,

Can you please explain the steps necessary to set up an anonymous comment option? :)

Even I haven't figured it out. lol And that's one big reason I've chosen not to comment in that section.

There are options you can click to remain anonymous or to use your username.
It's just a click away!

I have left anonymous comments and they never show, so I just quit and post on the forum.

Different username than forum.

I'm in the same situation as you. Every year when I renew my membership my username changes, but I get to keep my Forum password the same. So if I make the same comment once on the scene comments and once on the Forum, the reader will see two different names. For those in that situation, that may obviate any perceived need to post scene comments anonymously.

All the time I've been here I never thought to comment on the scene page....will try and remember to now

Depending on the circumstances our system may let you use the same username.

Mark I left an anonymous comment on the Nico/Bentley scene and it does not appear?
Ar one time the scene page comments appeared as soon as they were posted as they are on this Forum and some were very rude and offensive so that section is now moderated and comments need approval to be posted.

When I make a comment on a scene, it seems to post immediately.
If that is the case today, I stand corrected. I honestly pay very little attention to those pages. I know that at one time there was a problem with very nasty comments and that is how it was handled years ago.
