Coming Up on September 13 - BTS - Damien Kyle: Man In The Mirror

I am more excited about this upcoming Behind The Scenes than by any of the recent or upcoming actual sex scenes. Damian Christopher has teased us about this revealing glimpse into the life of Damien Kyle, and if it is half as interesting as his companion piece about Damien's "better half", Paul, this will be must see Broke Straight Boys for me, (that all rhymed).

According to the upcoming scenes page:

"Today we explore the enigma that is Damien Kyle Kyle discusses his troubled family life and how it continues to affect him today, how he deals with his fans and negative publicity, while offering a glimpse behind his "tough guy" persona."

I really hope this BTS was not taped that long ago; the photo is from a shoot Damien did from his first trip out to Broke Straight Boys If it is, I would hope they would at least add some newer interview stuff. He has opened himself up so much on the forum, some good some bad, that i would like him to shed light on why he lives his life so defiantly and holds loyalty so high on his "list."

Yay! haha I am very much looking forward to this one also. I'm so glad to see this video up and posted. Some of us have seen Damien's opening posts on the old BSB TV forum where he talked about his very tough childhood and upbringing. Damien is so complex and there's always more going on there than meets the eye. I'm all but certain that the "tough guy persona" is a defense mechanism and coping device he felt he had to acquire in order to deal with a world that in his eyes has treated him very unfairly. Underlying all the macho bravado and tough talk is a kind and gentle soul who has been deeply hurt in the past.

That's not to say that it's all an act. When he goes into hardass mode I'm sure it's not pleasant at all for those on the receiving end. I suspect we'll understand him a little better once we see the vid. Of course the accuracy of my psychoanalysis carries about the same malpractice insurance as Lucy's 5 cent advice booth. haha

Believe me I'm sure if they wanted to go to another site, they'd be gone by now. Given what has happened with some other models returning to Broke Straight Boys recently, they've been able to discern that the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence; at least without doing some thorough investigating of what is on the other side first.

There are similar episodes with some of the other cast and also the staff. You'll hear from Mark, Shannon, Mrs. Sabrina, and more. Sadly, I'm the only one without an expose because I was behind the camera.

I agree Dan. The money became almost a satire in the early days of BSB2 with Clay literally throwing it at the boys, but after that we no longer hear any money talk, and I do believe that it was a key element in the drama of BSB1, to discover just how much a boy would do, based on how much he was going to get paid.
