So this goes out to the Broke Straight Boys Mucky Mucks that call the shots. Why are they scenes getting shorter? Why is there now 10 mins of making out and oral and if we are lucky 5-10 mins of actual fucking? This is not right to all of us that pay to watch these scenes that as of late don't last long enough to even get warmed up. An explanation would be nice.

While that is a valid observation funbilly, I am surprised no one has mentioned the fact that the last two scenes released, were available for viewing earlier than what has been the regular time?

We've taken note. There have been a string of scenes that were filmed when we were trying to get our bearings with Shannon not doing any talking and trying to limit the amount of kissing per the other requests of people in the forum. The scenes used to be 3-5 minutes interview; 3 minutes making out; 5 minutes oral, three positions 5 minutes each. That's the traditional script followed by most studios and the script that Johnny brought as director when he used to work here.

In order to try and be more innovative, we've tried to throw out all the rules and let the guys have more organic scenes recently. So many people complained about how robotic everything was, or about the blathering, or about how straight guys wouldn't really kiss each other... taking the various feedback into account, we did a shoot week where we tried not to script things as much and let sex happen organically and naturally to see how they would turn out. Studies conclude that the average time for men 24-43 in good health and not taking medications achieve orgasm on average (standard deviation) were 2.7-4.3 minutes depending on the type of activity. I would guess that these guys could go in even less time since the average age of our models is 21 years old. Considering the ratings of those scenes you would think it would be a resounding success story. We let the viewers watch the sex happen naturally and in almost real time. The guys got in there and had as close to spontaneous sex (as we could muster in a studio) and the scenes albeit short are getting a lot of love.

We do strive to learn from each comment and with all feedback we get from our shoots. I think we were able to take some of the feedback we got and create some hotter scenes. That entire shoot week was based on listening to feedback about the mechanical nature of the scenes. We tried it and parts of it really worked and parts (the length) didn't. Now that we realize we are on the right track, we further realize the need to make them longer without losing any of the positives we picked up from the exercise. It's a learning process and the genesis for knowing if something is working or not comes from this forum as well as the other vehicles mentioned above. It is feedback for which we are most grateful and encourage!

In any event, we realized as we were editing these that the scenes were coming out shorter than we like. Without the interviews, we will need to increase other parts of the film and make the guys stay in positions longer even if they are ready to bust and it feels natural in the moment to allow that. So even though these scenes are coming off with some of the best ratings ever, we will work to make them longer. I just edited a Mikey and Oliver scene that came out to 25 minutes so take comfort in knowing we are on it already and I'm sure we now know where the middle ground is for the next round of shoots in a couple of weeks.

It's amazing how responsive you guys are. I agree with the above comment that straight guys wouldn't kiss, they might actually suck dick and fuck but they are right it just doesn't happen in real life. I'm not real impressed with the current group, I'm glad Dakota is back it just seems long periods between the good scenes I wait for. I don't mind some of the talking. One can always fast forward through. The girl friend fake stuff is boring but the I can't believe I am having to get fucked stuff is kind of hot. I also like some of the where have you been stuff because I genuinely like keeping up with these guys. I think the throw back Thursday stuff is a good idea. I go back and look at the old stuff when there isn't much new I care for, which is a lot lately! Anyway it's clear you guys care and it's fun for us to have a little input, or at least think we do! You guys do a pretty good job of getting all angles but I sure wish you could throw in more shots of the guys asses before they get fucked and from behind while getting fucked showing the tops ass as well. There was a recent scene where they pulled out and went back in several times and then creamed on the guys ass. Now that's hot! I know it takes a talented model to do that but those kind of details make the scene.

In regard to Bryce's marvelous post, it is very much appreciated that you guys are responsive to our comments, but bear in mind that the forum as is general overall membership I'm sure, hardly all of "one voice" and you can never please all the people, as whatever you do to please some will piss off others. The original director David used to get on the forum and say stuff like, "you guys are never satisfied. I do what you ask and you are still not happy". lol

I like pre-sex interviews as that makes the boys seem real and makes Broke Straight Boys different from every other site that just has nameless guys stripping and fucking, and I don't like "staged" kissing. I liked it when it was rare and only when it as as Stowe likes to say, "organic" to the scene. Nothing is hotter to me than watching two "believably straight" guys starting out just "doing it for the money", but then watching as the pleasure overcomes them and they just go at it like two animals and if they start kissing in the middle of it......it's boner time for me, (I know Peter, TMI. lol)

But Bryce again, as Johnny likes to say, "that's just me", offering what gets me going. My opinion is to keep mixing things up to appeal to all of the people at least some of the time.

Thanks, Bryce. I agree with Funbilly. I like the kissing at the beginning, but only between models who don't mind doing it and do it well. Tanner does it well. Brandon doesn't. I don't like it to seem forced, so they shouldn't be forced.

I'm not really here with a big "straight guys doing it" thing going on. I like that they're mostly first time porn models (straight or gay) and that we get to see them get better at their craft. The good ones get high ratings and usually stay. The others fall by the wayside. There's always a new crop on the way, with some vets to break them in. It's a nice mix.

Here's a suggestion to lengthen scenes: Kissing should not be a separate thing to do. Start out a scene with that but incorporate kissing in the oral and anal segments, which is being done to some degree now. To extend the scene you have to introduce other things such as rimming, ass play, 69 things that rarely happen in scenes here, would add variety to scenes as well as lengthen them by at least a few minutes.

As far as kissing in the scenes goes, my own take on it is that if it's two guys snogging in the heat of the moment, like one guy's inside the other and they've pulled each other closer and kissed passionately at that point, then I think its really hot and I totally buy that in a scene. I can see a straight/curious top doing that when they're caught up in the moment and then after they've cum they may think to themselves "Shiiiit, that was a bit full-on, what did I do there ?!"

What I don't find a turn-on or in any way believable is when the director (obviously out of shot) basically wraps up the pre-sex banter and the first thing that these straight/curious guys do is lean into each other and lock lips. For me, that just doesn't work.

I was a Big Fan of Tyler Evans I would go back and watch his scenes in a batch. There were scenes in which you could tell that from his body language and facial expressions, he was either not into his scene partner or into the activity itself. He was just doing his job and what needed to be done in the scene. But, there are several scenes in which he's fully engaged, his look, his breathing, his body language all indicated that he was either feeling good doing what he was doing or.....maybe a little turned on by the scene partner!

This is only one model and example but, this is the kind of : organic, spontaneous, real, snippet that I see when I watch scenes. It's not something I expect or get in every scene but, it's the kinds of things that allow me to buy into a scene the most. This isn't something (in my opinion) that can be directed into a scene despite what people may suggest. And both the achieves as well as many current scenes, are full of these moments....if you allow yourself, you'll find them

Great example Betu as I totally agree that one could tell when Tyler was into his partner and when he was just "phoning it in", and when he was into it, that little guy turned into a total sex machine!!!!
