I love how attentive you are Jay. I would not have noticed that little promo. I also wonder. It could be something great like outtakes or the like or just re-branded old scenes much like the "Scenes from the Vault" of old College Dudes and College Dudes scenes. But now I have something to look forward to on the site on Friday as well as the new scene coming up on Sunday! I do appreciate that Mark is trying to keep us entertained during the scale back in scenes due to the pandemic.

I agree with your post with the exception of the words "or just". I would be very interested in which of the Broke Straight Boys archives scenes management chooses. We all know that there is some great material in the Broke Straight Boys archives, but it is a monumental project to view all of the scenes. So the concept of management picking what it considers to be gem scenes would appeal to me.
Some sites are reintroducing some of their best scenes from the past. Even though we have the archives. I’m sure many members don’t go back and look. I don’t as much as I used to. But if they do I hope they release some new material behind the scenes with it. Sean Cody did this during the early days of the virus.

I've been here since the early years so to re-release old stuff would not be that big for me, but I do understand that I am an exception, so if it makes current fans aware of some of the great models from the past, it would be a positive.
But new material, be it audition tapes or outtakes or even new behind the scenes stuff would be my personal preference. But whatever it is, it will be good to have material released more than once a week.

No question that we crave material being released more than once a week! This is where I miss "The Vault" which gave us a scene to watch the other six days of the week for a hundred day period. Yes, they were mostly 2008-2011 scenes from College Dudes with a few older College Dudes scenes the last week, but at least it was something. So anything the Broke Straight Boys vintage starting tomorrow provides will be welcome.

My thoughts are, quite possibly those episodes/updates (MAYBE GOING BACK TO THE START), of never released updates? you know-those 'extra' updates that are filmed on a 'just in case' time/event happens-(eg. Coronavirus) that has slowed/all-but-stopped filming new updates, if not already the case? JMO

We do know that there are several Broke Straight Boys vids not released yet due to quality concerns or possibly other marketing or timing decisions for the site. It still sticks in m mind that we were told there is still an unaired video with Ashton Taylor for instance. It's possible that eventually these held back vids will be aired, even if the quality is not expected to be top notch stuff.

Yes. It would be interesting Mikey. haha But again, in dealing with held back scenes it's best to go into them with lower or more realistic expectations. If it's been held back, there's usually a good reason for that. haha You may want to throw a balled up pair of socks at your monitor by the time it's over. Better to be even mildly impressed, than to expect the moon and be very disappointed.

Sometimes I think management thinks a particular scene isn’t going to do well and are pleasantly surprised when they do. When I watch the after scene with Ethan Erickson and Benjamin, Sha makes a comment about Ethan cumming prematurely and not letting the camera man know. I got the impression that Sha might have thought the audience would be disappointed, but that scene ended up being very highly rated (Now it’s missing..lol. See new thread I started).Yes. There were several Axel Kane videos held back, and I actually thought the latest one with Brandon was one of his best, because he tried rimming in it and he had never done that before. Not to mention both of them have amazing bodies.

It took a long time over several months, but I watched every scene incloding the one-time solos, so I am really curious s ro what scenes aee chosen. Therre are some real gems among last inclusions, And incidentally, I really am sick of that damned cheep futon and hope scenes will move to a classier set

The scene is now out and it is certainly not what any of us who commented here had expected. It was not a re-branded "classic" Broke Straight Boys chosen by management to epitomize the best of the best in the rich history of this site. It was not a never before released "hidden" or held back Broke Straight Boys scene. It was not an audition tape or a "blooper" tape. It actually had nothing to do with Broke Straight Boys in any way, shape or form. It was in fact a "vintage" low quality tape of two very gay boys being interviewed one about his new boy friend with the eight and a half inch cock and the other who was actually a handsome young guy with a good body and a big dick, but the tall blonde was apparently high as he kept yawning and seemed totally disinterested. I just watched the first Broke Straight Boys Vintage scene. Alex was a cute little bottom, and Jeremy fucked him well. Like the Vault scenes, you can comment but not rate the scene. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know more about this scene, what was the name of the site and what year it was originally filmed? I found out that the Vault scenes were from a site called, “College Dudes”, except for the final few which were from College Dudes While the scene didn’t do much for me, I do like to know these things. I guess it’s all part of being a Broke Straight Boys yenta.

Are you saying you watched every single Broke Straight Boys scene from the archives to the present?! Or are you referring to a shorter series of Broke Straight Boys offerings? If you've actually watched nearly 2,000 vids, that's pretty amazing. You may still need some iv fluids to rehydrate.
