who here has Broke Straight Boys DVDs? i’ve got vol 3, 7, 8, 9, & 10

Who still has a DVD player to watch them on? I remember when Broke Straight Boys released them, but I saw all Broke Straight Boys episodes, (or not based on the models involved), as they were released, so I saw no need to buy the DVD’s.

I did throw away all my VHS tapes a decade ago when I no longer had a VHS player, mainly William Higgins stuff.

I do it the cheap way, episode by episode.

there are dozens of packaged digital releases sent to separate sites, but there were only ten or so actual DVD sets, I believe

Oh! Throw away... To garbage? You could have sold them or given them away instead. Those are valuable.

I intend to purchase a new VHS/DVD set at some point. Also, some laptop computers comprise a DVD/Blu-Ray player and writer. If not, an external drive can be attached.

Yes. I threw them away, discreetly that is, put in paper bags and then in black trash bags so the neighbors would not discover what a pervert I was, lol. But I never thought to give away or sell. I had no VHS or DVD player and they were just taking up space. Too late now…..

All laps have a port to attach dvd players with the proper attachment. However just as you can play old records with record player or watch TV with an old large TV why would you. The quality aside from the space is not up mto what is available with the newest technology. Of course some people like living in the past & to each their own.

records have actually made a pretty significant comeback. but there are still a lot of physical media fans out there — i’ve got a ton of books, dvds/blu-rays, cds, records, etc.

Since I am homebound my computers are my opening to the outside word. I have three 2 are new & all amazing as compared to what they replace. I have noting against what worked well in the past but ask yourself this can a record player reproduce a concert or song as good as a computer?

I know more and more people getting turntables and records again. Folks say that the quality of records are better than the digital sounds. Who knew???? Maybe I should have saved my old stuff???
