i think I could, and I will eventually test that theory. I remember a time in the past actually fantasizing about those of the opposite sex so it’s not hard to imagine others actually enjoying both. Could I have sex with a woman for money on camera, that actually sounds exciting if it paid enough for my time, and I would put on a performance even if I didn’t enjoy it.

My personal definition of being straight or gay allows it to be fluid. Someone being open to gay sex does not mean they want gay sex for an emotional want the rest of their life. Some people don't even know what they want when it comes to many aspects of their life. Maybe you have a fetish specifically to be in gay porn, which i am sure has happened at least 1 time. I don't think ones previous actions define them as much as who they are as a person in the present, and 100% is not ever practical for anything in the real world.
Fluid like tar or air.
Tar is thick and slow while air is thin rapid. So I guess in one case the guy changes rapidly almost instantaneous while at the other extreme the change is almost unnoticeable over years.
I was just replying with something dumb, but I’d agree fluid does not look the same for everyone. I’d be scared to date a guy who could change sexuality rapidly, sounds like a recipe for disaster but I’m sure it’s a thing. I believe love is a human need and attraction is not something you can will into existence, so jumping back and forth probably means there is need for self discovery. Emotions are complex and creating a world of black and white doesn’t make any sense to me. Gay sex doesn’t mean gay, but the 2 are definitely related. The only one who can tell you if the gay sex fulfilled an emotional need is the person participating and they won’t always even know. No offense but if a completely straight guy can pretend to enjoy gay sex then maybe they should get into real acting because they are a champ.
I agree with most of what you say. As to acting, consider this , while an actor can control his emotions they can't control how their body acts. Set aside the use Viagra or another chemical a person can not will their body to react positively if it is abhorrent in their mind. Of course there is the rare exception, as their are rare exceptions to everything .

Getting hard takes a little physical action and a good imagination. I would never accuse a porn star of being a good actor. The finding gay sex abhorrent thing has more to do with your belief structure then your sexual orientation. While straight guys in gay porn happens I would say it’s not common, but there is likely a lot of guys that leave gay porn and never suck a dick again.
So it is really in my opinion unnecessary to dwell on the sexual orientation of the guy but rather are they good at what they are doing as is what we ask of others in non porn occupations.
