Spencer Todd was the “real deal”. He was one of the more controversial models on the site as he showed up here with a real “chip on his shoulder”. In his earliest scenes, he had an attitude that definitely bordered on being a homophobe with his words and the look of disgust on his face. This weeks throwback is with Zane Tate, Brandon and Spencer. I specifically remember Spencer and meeting him. Shane, Chad and myself were at Chili's. Shane went to the airport to pickup a model named Spencer. When he came back with him tension was really high. Spencer said he was ready to snap someones neck if something went south. This dude was super straight like hardcore. You could feel the tension across the table. It wasn't long before he realized that we were going to kill him,. kidnap or rape him. I later that night told Shane there is no fucking way you are going to get this guy to do anything. I could put a million dollars on it. Needless to say Shane got him to do everything. Shane had a gift for that.

I just watched the last item on his model page. It is a BTS interview with Damian Christopher released in February of 2014, two years after he started. This is that interview.

He talks about his attitude when he first arrived, as a native of Northern California, growing up in a bad environment without a father present in his life and with an drug addicted mother. He admits he had a negative attitude about gays, but in the two years between his earliest scenes and this final interview with DC, he has evolved and come to understand about the gay community. He has a girlfriend and says that being in a committed relationship is the most important aspect of his life. He is intelligent and personable and this final “exit interview” is fascinating to me.
On a final point, Mark refers to the director of Broke Straight Boys-2 as Shane, which is apparently his real name and how he is presented on the Broke Straight Boys-TV series, however he called himself Clay on the site and that is how he is known today as he is a studio owner who is very popular today, although his style is not one that appeals to me. I just wanted to clarify that the Shane that Mark referred to is indeed, Clay, one and the same.

It’s okay. It was just frustrating to read this morning when I woke up, as I spent a bunch of time finding the exit interview, showing the still from it, posting the link and commenting on it and it seemed all for nought…….But I accept your apology. All is good.Sorry, I owe you an apology, yes I did earlier and forgot, I'm bad.

His real life boyfriend was fellow porn star Trent Ferris and they had a big public breakup kind of like our own Damien Kyle & PC lol

But I am having trouble getting the whole story. I’d be curious of anyone out there knows the facts of what happened and where Sam is today? Hopefully he is alive and well as that is not always the outcome for some of these guys.
Like I said after watching the Throwback today, he seemed ultra straight back then and didn’t do anything other than receive head and jerk off. Later I want to watch his solo and see what he said. My guess is that he didn’t even realize that he had a gay side when he first worked here. I always remember Logan when Sha caught up with him at Chicago Market Days a few years after Broke Straight Boys He thanked Broke Straight Boys for helping him learn about himself. That may be the same situation with Sam.I believe that they both went on to do a lot of scenes for Next Door Studios. Since many were with each other, they must have been pre break up.

I am one gay guy who still hasn’t found my straight side now in my seventh decade. lolololol
