Britains got talent winners 2014 - Collabro

This years winners are 5 man classical group Collabro. There were so many good acts this year though.

Agreed, Jon this was a great show but I have to say that Collabro were my favourites.....Amazing!! Canadian Darcy was very impressive to say the least!! Best final I have watched. Looking forward to see what COLLABRO now do!!

Beautiful, just beautiful. Maybe they will tour the US and I might get a chance to see them.

It was an amazing show and a fantastic group won but I honestly thought it was going to be those 2 kids bars and melody as they were great I think but I agree this year the talent was so amazing it was hard to call

Hi Brit Guy. Are you a newbie to the forum ? I had to laugh or cringe when Cheryl Cole sang her song thought and right at the end Ant and Dec had to plug her appearance on the this years X Factor judges panel.

Talking about X Factor. A friend at work has a daughter who is appearing as part of a 7 piece girl group in this years show. Keep an eye out for them, they're called the Pow Pow Girls. Crap name I know lol

The only complaint I have is that this song is so short. I could listen to them all night. I suppose I will be trolling through Youtube for more of their performances to download.

These two deserve a singing contract. I was in tears by the end of their performance and it does not take much to make me cry. I am a sucker when it comes to music, whatever style it is.

I agree with you 100% as there words really spoke out to me about the bullying as I know what it feels like to be bullied like that, and they both are so crazy talented and the way they combined the styles truly was amazing. I have to admit they brought tears to my eyes as well. X

One would think I am peeling a bushel of onions in my living room the last couple of days. I cannot get through Collabro's audition without the flood gates opening. Thank you Boys and thank you Jon for posting this.

I must elaborate on why this post has meant so much to me. Collabro chose a song from Miserables for their audition and their finale. Susan Boyle's audition song was also from Miserables. These were taken from the musical composed by Lord Andrew Lloyd Weber. Lord Andrew in my mind is the musical genius of today's theatre/musical productions. I have followed his works throughout his career. He has spanned his horizons from the rock Jesus Christ Super Star to the revolutionary Evita to the romantic Phantom of the Opera. The man has never ceased to enlightened my love for music. If someone was to ask me which was my favorite, I would have to say CATS. I have watched that on stage 32 times, half of which was in New York City, not to mention the 200+ times I have watched it on DVD.

The performances I have been able to watch on Youtube from the BBC Britain's Got Talent are brilliant. However, since I cannot view those shows as they occur, I have to rely on posts such as on Youtube.

I do have to give a shout out for someone who is from the US and won American Idol. His name is David Cook and he has been my number one favorite of all time and continues to be so. David is a rocker but he grew up with an experience on theatrical music. His most spectacular performance was singing The Music of The Night from Phantom of the Opera.

Enjoy!

I know you have a thread posted, Jon, on music. But, since I mentioned Phantom of the Opera, I wanted to post this for everyone's enjoyment. It is Sara Brightman (Lord Andrew's former wife) and Antonio Bandera's performance of the theme of the musical.

You mentioned Susan Boyle, who actually came second in this same competition a few years back. If Collabro do half as well as she did then they'll be very happy.
