Is it me or are the new guys just not interesting? I am missing the HOT GUYS that used to be on this site but seem to have dissappeared over the past few months.
Obviously, I'm not the only one that feels this way or the ratings for the videos would be higher. Most of the recent videos have been 2 to 3 stars at most.
I enjoy HOT guys in the SOLOS and HOT guys getting to know each other and playing with each other. The past few months there have been very few that have the chemistry to keep me watching. There are exceptions of course.
Anyone else feeling that they are needing to get back to the HOT GUYS!?

I would not go as far as you have in the criticism of the latest models, but to an extent you are right. I realized this week that on the forum there have been very few comments on "Membership Site Chat", which discusses the actual scenes, and more activity on the "General Chat Forum" which discusses non site things. I'm not a big follower of the "ratings", but you are correct that these latest scenes are not getting the high fours and fives.

But I know that things are cyclical, and that David has great taste in selecting models, and I feel confident that the hottie's will be back soon. There have been lulls before, and then some periods of time with great shoot after great shoot. So lets all show patience, (or "patients", as Dave says ). I'm sure we will all be raving soon over some upcoming scenes. Overall, this is still a fantastic web site.

PS Jimgym69. You look very nice yourself. The gym is definitely working very nicely for you.

I do want to add this... I feel like a few guys arent worth watching and you kinda get the idea they arent going to be around long. But then you have guys like chasen that could be A LOT better given time to kinda grow into himself like diesel. what to do what to do. Good ones leave to soon and bad ones dont leave soon enough.

Seriously though check out my experience with another site called ungloyhole.com that I talk about on the Hazehim thread. There are some awful sites out there.

Believe me... For overall quality and quantity, and value for the money...we have it made over here on Broke Straight Boys

Here's what I think. Look back to the very beginning of this site. I know that I will step into dangerous territory here and some will disagree with me, but let's look at some of the early models. You have Taz, Austin, Casey, Mario, Ajay, Anthony, Nathan, Giovanni, Tyler, Nelson, Alden, Jason, Mike, Michael, Logan, Jordan and Landon, just to name some of my very favorites. I hope you would agree if you look back through those episodes that the bar has been set pretty darn high. I agree that the last few have been sort of a disappointment, but, sheesh, how would you like to try to improve on what I have listed? This job is monumental.

I think that one possible solution is for a few of us die-hard members start taking on some of the responsibility of screening the applicants. What do you think?

It seems to be the nature of the beast. Guys come in and can handle the whole thing and then there are others that can't. That goes for the hot ones as well as the "not so hot". And while David can fall back on the stable or new local boys, it's pretty much a crap shoot with the new ones he flies in. He has seen their pictures, read their application and based on that reaches out by phone for an interview. Based on that he puts them on the schedule for shooting. Some bail well before then, some bail before he makes travel arrangements. Only he would know what percentage actually make it to Broke Straight Boys Central and from there on to the futon. As he said in another thread, there are some pep talks involved before they even shoot. I don't envy David for that part of his job. He must have thick skin after all these years in dealing with some of those boys. Then they are on the futon and not everyone is a performer or will be liked by the membership. So there are many reasons why there might be a dry spell.

However, this same time has IMHO seen the following positive things:

Jace fucks/gets fucked, Scott and Leon, the return of Sean and Shawn (YEAH SHAWN!). To name a few.

And I suspect that David has a few surprises lurking in the vault as well. He usually does. I am an unabashed fan of David and Eddie and Broke Straight Boys, CPB and Boy Gusher Add that to BluMedia and you get a winning situation. Good (Most of the time GREAT) porn, good people and a lot for the $$.

Question. Did all those guys who are now Broke Straight Boys stars or member's favorites achieve that status instantly or did they 'grow' on us? No pun intended. Diesal had me the first time I saw him, but for the most part my now 'favs' took a few viewing.

Speaking of Diesal when is he coming back, David?

I have to say that I totally disagree with most of you. I have really liked the videos coming out in the past few weeks. There are some that have fallen short for me, but then again there has always been some that are not my taste. But more often than not they are very hot videos, and not interesting guys, missing hot guys, that I don't get at all..... Just within the last 30 days we have had Leon, Jace, Seth, Scott, Braden, and Brian. I find each and every one of these guys not only intersting but very HOT. I know I would kick not one of them out of my bed..... So no I don't agree with you at all, and have no idea where you are coming from.

For me it is a case of some guys don't do it for me ever, some take time to grow on me (& then I wish they were growing inside me ... oops sorry) & some guys are an instant hit. I watched a certain video yesterday for the first time & within 2 mins I had fallen for this guy hook, line & sinker. In my eyes he is so incredibly hot but conversely in someone elses eyes he would be a dud.
