Kids these days. . .
Drive me NUTS. Computers bequeath short attention-spans, I think.
When I was 20, you had to save up for three years to get a VCR - and for six months, to earn enough, to buy a copy of "Leo and Lance". And, when you FOUND a gay idol, you damned well kept him, and REVERED him, for LIFE.
Nowadays, it's all so EASY - all on DEMAND. If someone beautiful scratches his CHIN in a way you don't like: OK, fine, he's forgotten, and as good as GONE. There is always someone NEW to go on to, on any of the 300,000 sites now on offer. Or on any of the 500 "tube" sites, now available.
I think kids today think
everyone is about as important as a "Big Mac" you forgot on the back seat of your car, yesterday afternoon. TOSS it OUT, and get a FRESH ONE.
Doesn't sit right, with me. But then, I'm a simpleton, from the country. I didn't grow up in a big Canadian city, like Toronto, or Vancouver, or Calgary, or something. I guess people are more sophisticated, there.
