Behind The Scenes

I spent several hours over the last few days watching the extensive BTS material from the St. Louis Pride event. I have to say that I am becoming a big fan of this "mini reality series" featuring Sha, Jimmy, Rob & Cole.

Whenever either David or Clay have had long pre-sex interviews on the actual scenes on Broke Straight Boys, some members have complained how long it took before the models began to get naked and get into the action. I on the other hand have always enjoyed getting a glimpse into who these young guy's really are, and so the latest round of BTS satisfies my interest and curiosity in an away from the futon or bed setting.

These road trips appear to be a blast for the guys to get away from their home towns to visit other cities, and experience the thrill of being on the road meeting and greeting their fans.

I find all four participants, (definitely including our wonderful "host" of the scenes, Sha) to be fun loving, interesting, and genuinely nice people who make me laugh and enjoy sharing their experiences in the hotel rooms, touring the cities, at the pride events and in the local gay clubs.

I agree Mikey. The BTS this year, have me ROFLMAO!

Rob and Jimmy are hilarious. I am so glad that I have gotten to see this side of Jimmy. I think this group is opening his eyes and showing him that are different things out there, besides his comfort zone. He fights all the suggestions to try different things, but you can tell he is really having a great time.

Rob is just like he is on the forum. His sense of humor is great, but the way he pulls everyone in, is wonderful to watch. I think by the end of the tour, he will have the booth turned into a stage, with him singing, Cole dancing, and Jimmy sitting on the edge putting tattoos on fans.

We don't hear a lot from Cole, but in the BTS Cole really shines. I don't think there is anything that he will not do. He definitely gets the spirit award.

I think Sha might miss some really good stuff, just because he is laughing too hard to hold the camera.

I've never been one to watch any of the BTS stuff but maybe when I get some time I'll watch some of it. It will be cool to see what Jimmy's like when he's not having sex with a guy, which we know he doesn't like but even with that I have warmed to him significantly and I can tell that deep down there seems to be a teddy bear lurking.

I too thoroughly enjoy the BTS footage. I'm still in the process of watching the St. Louis trip, but from what I have watched, I gotta say that Cole is a revelation. He is such a chill dude, and he really does look good from behind. I esp love how he has seemed to open up and have fun in such a playful, cute way. I really enjoyed his dancing and lap dances. I'm even seeing a playful side to Jimmy and...dare I say, a sense of humor? Jimmy's the kind of guy I love to tease, because he's so busy taking himself too seriously. But I see that slipping away to reveal a really sweet guy. Rob, is his usual animated and cute self.

I don't know if these bts will continue during the off-season, and if not, Broke Straight Boys will have to come up with other "events" or activities to keep the fun going. It's too important to limit to a season or part of the year.

The BTS video is tops in my book. I love getting to know the models in a more personal way. BTW, I also have enjoyed having some of the models chat on the forum. Keep up the good work everyone at Broke Straight Boys

You're very welcome Though I have to say I have nothing to do with the BTS anymore. I only worked on the DC videos before Chuck took it away from me (Hi Chuck lol).

Thank you all for your kind words. We are having a great year touring the country and trying to capture footage of the guys that shows more about who they are. It is really nice to hear that you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoy making it. In the near future I plan on visiting our studios where I can capture more BTS footage of some of the guys that aren't on tour.

Mikeyank, You really picked the words out of my mouth. These trips are so much more fun than porn! I get to do my favorite thing which is travel and meet new people. . . Best of all I get to meet some of the people from the forums.

And I can't lie, Cole, Jimmy, and Sha make it the most fun!

Haha, Miss K I have to agree a 100%!! I think I am the glue that holds everyone together even closer, which makes for a great experience! I think everyone would be surprised by cole, he is much more lively off camera hehe. . .

That is totally right! i couldn't tell you how many precious moments aren't ever captured on camera :-( It's always those things that make us think, "Damn! I wish we had the camera for that!"

Sha, cole, and jimmy are some of the most hilarious people I've ever met!

All bias aside, I think it is definitely worth a peek. It gives you a chance to see some of the things that are the cause of his on scene performance and how comfortable he is now.
