Back From Vacation!

Just got back from Colorado! Loved the trip!

Spring Break this year was one of the best that I can think of in a long time.
I got to go to the Rocky Mountain National Park, BreckenRidge, Estes Park, and got to hang out with a cool close friend of mine!

Will you share some of the highlights of your vacation to Colorado with us? Such as places you went and some things you did?

well, one of the first things i did was i got to go to Rocky Mt. National Park!
I had never seen so much natural beauty in one day. It was a trip to remember..
pretty sure that we drove over 200 miles in the mountains! an 8 hour day! i had an amazing time and that was just the first day! we listened to my Punk Draft music from the tron soundtrack! the music was really pretty and went well the the scenery.

Then the next day, i got to go to this college town called Boulder. Man, I hadnt seen so SO many chick in one area before! i had my cowboy boots on with a purl snap shirt, all Texas out. Ate these subs that were open 24 hours, holy shit they had good ass subs.

I also went to Loveland pass where i star gazed after we went to breckenridge for St. Patties day.. So many drunk people. i just sat at the fire and peopled watched. there were people dressed up in Leprechaun costumes playing the trumpets up and down the street. So cool..

OH! i got to she the Planetary Nebula "The Orion Nebula" and Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, and Mars through a telescope. My jaw dropped when i saw the great nebula. serious a new experience.

Estes park was also a beautiful grounds to explore. I showed my friend what and how "Alluvial Fans" were created. i was surprised that i could remember something from class to tell you the truth. lol

Oh man, there was so much, some of my favorite parts was going swimming in an indoor pool where we had laser lights, disco lights, and fog machines all going along with my music we plugged in. Best nights.

So much happened, just ask more detailed questions.

Blake I just got back from vacation too. It appears I left around the time you got back. So in between people watching and partying you did some geology and astronomy. Not bad. Colorado is a great place to view the night sky.

In a couple of weeks I will be heading out to Utah to scout out my areas to view the Eclipse of the Sun. When I get back I will post my plans for viewing this eclipse and anyone who wants to travel out to Utah would be welcome to join me. I will provide the viewing glasses so you can look at the sun.

To get an idea where I Utah I hope to view the eclipse, if you look at a map of southern Utah between the Cities of St. George and Cedar City that whole area is within this eclipse. I am hoping to find a viewing site on the road that connect Cedar City to Newcastle. A good portion of that road is right on the center line of the eclipse so it will be a perfectly rounded eclipse.

I will set-up a new thread with details, once I am satisfied with my choice of site(s).

Actually, out of repects to the person that I was staying with, I did not go out and get any action, but I'm actually okay with that. Sex was on my mind constantly, I was there for 8 days and got 11 number... (for when I return)

It sounds like your host pulled out all the stops to show you a good time. He's quite a guy, isn't he? Would you be willing to share any pics of your vacation? Maybe we could see some of these natural wonders of which you speak. Of course we would not want you to include photos of people whose privacy they would wish to keep.

I'm so glad you're still around the forum Blake. Just because you don't have a new video released every week doesn't mean that we have forgotten you or don't want to hear from you. You've become an online friend to many of us in here. Speaking for myself it brightens my day just to know you are in here sharing your thoughts and experiences with us. XO
