Are BSB models really broke ?

I really do believe that it is possible for a Straight man to engage in (what is naturally assumed taboo) sex with another guy, and even...learn to enjoy it, while still maintaining his preference for women. Sex is sex! In this case, they may have to work harder at performing (and we don't know what they have to do to prepare for a scene, or even if they are watching straight porn while doing it) but I do believe it can be done and done well! That's just my opinion!

Again on this subject, I look to myself as an example of someone who could not do the opposite of your supposition. I am 100% gay and I could not engage in, and learn to enjoy sex with a woman. While sex is sex, no matter how hard I prepared, including watching gay porn while doing it, I do not see myself being able to do it well or even do it at all.

I do not know your sexuality Betu, if you consider yourself bisexual or gay, but could you do the job well, if you were hired to have intimate sexual relations with a woman?

Speaking for myself and some other gay guys who have chimed in on the forum, I could not "do the job" at all, and never "learn to enjoy" having sex with a woman and so I believe that a straight man would not be capable of doing the opposite.

I've bookmarked this link to begin right at the start of his segment on gay-for-pay porn. Have a look if you've a few minutes and see what you think - Louis shares the belief that these guys have to have some small part of them that likes gay sex in order to perform it on camera; the model he interviews disagrees.

Thank you very much Declyn. I watched a good portion of your link, and it gives me a bit more of an inside look at the guys who consider themselves straight and do gay porn. He too dislikes kissing, sucking dick and bottoming which is what most gay for pay actors say.

One of my favorite BTS here is one which received very little attention on the forum. It was a BTS of Sha being on the set at the pool when Adam and Johnny had their underwater sex scene. In between takes both models are very frank, and particularly Adam talks about being straight and disliking the sex, even though he is one of the modern "pansexual" Broke Straight Boys guys who do it all.

I believe that guys like Adam, Johnny, Ayden, and the porn actor in this video all live totally straight lives, and think of themselves as straight guys looking to earn some cash, ($1500 was the figure given in this interview for 3 or 4 hours work). But I would classify them as Kinsey 1's, "Predominantly heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual".

Well, I'm a BTS junkie on this site so I have watched the clip you mention. Sha was asking the Boys if a pussy or ass felt better, essentially asking which of two fleshlights they might prefer. I guess I'll respectfully disagree here with you that a Kinsey 0 couldn't perform sexually with the same gender. I had a friend who as a homeless teen got to sleep on someone's couch but the expectation that he service her regularly. This wasn't gay sex but it was really, REALLY sex that he didn't want to be having (I had a suspicion that gay sex, for him, might have been slightly more tolerable). He did it because he didn't see any other way not to freeze that winter. He could get his body to react to the friction of sex enough to function and she either didn't notice or care that he didn’t like it. (He could have actually been acting for her (he WAS from a family full of actors; his first cousin starred in a famous cult movie. Think black and white, my friend’s cousin on the poster wearing an iconic hairdo).)

Also, I'm thinking of Jason discussing prison at the beginning of his 'welcome home' scene with Mick. He talked about how one of his best friends inside was a lifer who repeatedly tried to seduce him...and had been completely straight and married before his incarceration. Jason said something like, "He's never going to see (pussy) so I guess you just find that attraction, somehow"...

So here's a question - was Jason's buddy ALWAYS a 1 or did he acquire his...oneness...due to circumstances? What if he closed his eyes and thought of a woman?

Are we still talking about Boys being Broke? I think we kind of are. They get paid decent money (although not as much as in Louis' docu; I've read that rates are about half of that nowadays) and they get perks. They may spend four or five days at the mansion, two to four times a year, being very well taken care of. They’re with guys their age who, like themselves, were selected at least partially for their fun, outgoing personalities and charisma. They get to flex any actor muscles they may have, they can legitimately claim the title of 'porn star' and, right now, if they do a particularly good job, they are filmed for a TV show. Are all these factors together enough for a true '0' to decide to be a Broke Straight Boys? I think they might be, for just a few of these young men. The others, yes, I think are 1 through 6 Kinsey scalers.

I haven't had a chance to watch the suggested clip yet, but I will when I get a moment. To try and to explain my position on this topic I will say at first, I consider myself a gay male. I am attracted and prefer sex with men. I have been and experienced sexual relationships with women in the past. My attraction to a "person" which, if intimate, will most likely lead me to sexual arousal. I have not been with a woman in many years but, even if I were to be in a situation where I was "sexually aroused" and a woman was involved I would still be able to perform sexually, I would still consider myself gay. Men are my primary sexual attraction. My best friend w/benefits, whom is not attracted to men, and does not seek men out for sex, likes anal stimulation, even in the absence of another person. Women are his attraction. Does that make him bi sexual? Not in my opinion. Men in (prison for example) who are sexually deprived for any degree of time, can perform sexually with another man to some degree without being attracted to the person they are having sexual relations with. What does that make them? My point (and please, it's fine that we agree to disagree) is that a person's attraction to male/or female can vary according to their circumstances, situation, even the availability of a partner. I think labels help but are not always accurate and therefore, I am finding it harder for ME to assign them to others. Only to myself. In the case of these models, I think there are exceptions to every rule. Some of these guys might have a degree of attraction to guys and some may not. To be able to perform sexually with another guy on demand, probably takes more practice, preparation and skill than I can imagine for some and less for others. I've tried to be very careful to say "whatever they are comfortable saying they are" regardless of what I think, hear or see in their videos. Again, this is my position only, as I can explain it.

(I replied to another of your comments but, meant to address this one) Also just watched a portion of the BBC's Louis Theroux clip, and doing so, found some interesting information. As, they were talking about Straight porn, I often wondered just how difficult it would be doing gay porn too with all that's involved! Interesting to me is that some straight performers (other information I've gathered in the past) say that it is easier for THEM to bottom, as it doesn't require them to maintain an erection. I don't bottom at all, so, I would imagine, it can be practiced to perfection (such may be the case of Damien Kyle in Broke Straight Boys)
