Another New Cute Boy - BTS coming July 25 - Getting To Know Landon Wells

This was briefly mentioned on another thread yesterday, but the good news for me is that Broke Straight Boys is hiring young, cute guys who look to my taste what a traditional Broke Straight Boys should look like. So far, I'm impressed with Damien Nichols and Ashton Taylor. Justin Dean is very good looking and while not "my type", being an openly gay experienced porn star, but he is very good looking and I wholeheartedly approve of having him along with Drake Tyler to "break in" newbies. I also very much liked the interview and solo with Allen Michaels, but apparently that is all he has filmed so far as is the case with his "buddy" who he accompanied to the studio Dorian Kross, (who fits more in as a pretty gay boy, rather than a possible broke "straight" boy).

But my point is that after a period of not the greatest looking guys, to my taste, we have an infusion of pretty, young, many new to porn boys on the site and this new one coming up in an interview next Tuesday seems to fit right in. His picture is not on our home page yet, but he is pictured on the Broke Straight Boys twitter account, available on the home page here as well. This is Landon Wells, and he adds to my "happy camper" state as Broke Straight Boys has apparently turned around a rather "bleak" period for me in introducing new models.

So you obviously delve deeper than twitter my friend, but I am so pleased to see more and more new young guys joining in on the fun. I almost gave up on Broke Straight Boys a little while ago, but now I'm pleased to still be here, anticipating new models and scenes in the near future!

Actually my friend, I didn't have to delve . You proved my point! If it's on Social Media, particularly FB or Twitter which are both included in sections to the right side of the Member page, all information is there for members to see. If something has the site title in it "@BrokeStr8Boys" members are getting the same information as everyone who can access this information.

Here again, sha, you rub shit in current dues-paying members' faces by relegating them to second class status by not giving them the courtesy of announcing new models on the members home page with a specific thread on the forum at least at the same time as other social media sites and preferably a day before. I would like to think we members deserve some special consideration over outsiders. Just because you have a twitter section on the homepage doesn't make a difference. You have or at least should have some kind of obligation to treat your members with at least as much respect as you do the prospective members on twitter. I think using social media to promote the site and hopefully acquire new members is a smart marketing move. But it should not take away from the obligation to your current dues-paying members who for whatever reasons are not plugged into social media sites like twitter.

I realize I am far from a favored member by management; so perhaps if someone else would take up this cause, it might get the matter rectified. But I have never been nor will I ever be one to be quiet in the face of what I consider poor treatment of myself or a class of people, in this case current dues-paying members.

I'm not sure if I am a "favored" member either, but Stowe is a good friend of mine and if he wants sometime to take up the cause, I volunteer! It would be great to have perhaps a "sticky" thread as Tampa suggested right on the forum, called "Upcoming Models" or "Boys in the house" and to give us the pics that are also used on twitter to promote the site. He is right that paying members should be given some props and given first class treatment!

I like the sticky idea.. I didn't even think of it because my knowledge of forum things is pretty low. But as I understand the sticky threads stay up at the top of the list of threads on a board and never fade way. That seems like a perfect and convenient way for management to give us our due with respect to new models without having to exert itself too much.

As for taking up causes, I thank you; and let's face it, you're from Brooklyn, it's in you DNA - lol !!!

I don't post often but I've been a member here for many years now. In all of that time, I never knew a new guy was coming onto the site until the coming soon section updated. It was always a mystery that I looked forward to. I don't know how many remember this but we used to not even have that and we found out the scene only when it went live with know notice. This advance notice of new guys on twiter has only happened recently and now I look forward to our members on twitter sleuthing it out and posting it for us. It seems to me they enjoy playing detective and breaking the news to the rest of us. To me it seems that the site owner is trying to do something new and use technology to give us even more timely informtion about new guys they are filming and we complain its not in the format we want I don't feel like just because a thread wasn't started that anyone "rubbed shit on me" but I'm not sure Sha should feel the same way. The second-class treatment here seems to be directed the other way around. Thank you to the manangement for the new updates on twitter ad thanks to our fellow members who post them here for us. if mangement see this and have time to double their work and also post here that is great but if not I'm sure members enjoy doing it. I for one am not offended and I think its a stupid cross for us to pretend to bear.

I so agree with this comment! I joined this site a couple of times to enjoy the content long before becoming a continuing member, paying my membership dues regularly. I would see and read comments on the forum but was not aware at the time that there was a separate login to actually participate in the comments. That's been a while ago and there has been significant upgrades and changes made to the site web page and access points. The addition of the "social media" section being one of those upgrades. There are still new members paying dues and joining the site who've yet discovered the "forum" or simply choose not to utilize the forum. Mobile access has become more the main stream. Paying members don't always utilize the forum. So a separate thread introducing new models may be something that would benefit those who do but, I feel management advertises upcoming site worthy information as effectively as any other site. If I miss something or wasn't aware of something on the site, it's usually because I wasn't plugged in at the time. Not because I wasn't privy to information afforded to me by my membership dues.

To me, it's not really a "biggie" either way. I use the forum for 95% of my connection to the site and so for me, it would be advantageous for management to create a sticky thread right here on the forum to share the same content regarding upcoming models and scenes that they post on social media.

But if for whatever reason they choose not to, I will find out probably sooner rather than later as many forumites are heavily connected to the social media sites, and they will share that info here, and of course when the models are actually introduced and the scenes uploaded to the site, I will find out for real. So if anyone is counting votes, I vote for simultaneous release of info here as on social media, but if not, I can accept that too.

I'm personally thankful for the news and excited about the new guys. I signed up for twitter so that I could chase down some of these new guys. I am sure it's a good way to add business. I guess you guys could post here more about new guys to keep these guys happy but I'm just excited there appears to be some interesting new guys.
