Well, I didn't love this post scene interview. Its a personal preference thing, but It lost the G4P vibe for me. They continued lying side by side and being intimate with Calhoun stroking Jos Alvarez' body. That's one thing I would like to see change if we're going to continue getting these post scene interviews. We already accept the fact that we're going to see gay or bisexual models on this site, because we've discussed it a million times, but it is Broke Straight Boys The scene was a hot scene, but I wanted the scene to be over when it was over. This just looked like a couple after sex rather than two guys finishing a scene they got paid for. I will say, however, that maybe it's the model thinking in their head that they're still on camera and need to "perform" for us. But I think before we got these post scene interviews, the models probably got up and immediately headed for the shower once Sha said, "cut" for the last time. I don't know, call me picky, but I just think this interview gave the scene a "gay porn" feel rather than a "G4P".
I went into this scene thinking Jos Alvarez and Calhoun were both bisexual but leaned towards girls, and now after hearing their feelings on the matter, I don't know what to think. It was a hot scene, but I personally wished I hadn't seen the post interview.

I enjoyed all three related videos, before, after and the scene. Calhoun said that he considers himself mostly gay, while he still desires to have sex with women at times. And Jos Alvarez said that he agrees with Calhoun. I applaud them both for their honesty. There are still a few guys who show up on Broke Straight Boys every once in a while, who I believe are primarily straight, but there are so few that I really don't think about it anymore. And so for Broke Straight Boys-2019 rapidly approaching Broke Straight Boys-2020, I accept what Broke Straight Boys is today and the majority of fans seem to accept it and enjoy it, based on ratings and comments. And so this after the scene just reaffirmed that we witnessed two handsome and fit masculine gay guys having hot sex. And that's about the most we could ask for on the site today. Not my first choice of viewing material, but it is what it is.....

I have a different perspective on this "After the Scene" scene. If I write this, I know most forum members will consider that I am a sexist, and totally disregard it, but it does explain why Calhoun and Jos Alvarez can both be straight and still have the attitude they express in this interview.

Almost all straight men prefer the company of men to the company of women. That's what hunting, fishing, and sports are all about. It is straight guys having meaningless, casual relationships with other men. This is just my opinion. Please. Don't start hating me. Please.

Straight guys are very simple creatures. Actually. The reason they go out with women is for three things.

First. They need someone to feed them. Most straight guys have no idea where food comes from or how to plan for it, cook it or present it. Women feed them. When they are hungry, they go find a women to feed them. This is not nearly so obvious now that we have McDonald's, Taco Bell and Burger King. But women generally make all the decisions and arrangements to feed most straight guys.

Second, straight guys are absolutely FULL of testosterone. They need someone to fuck. But as soon as they bust their load, I guarantee you, they are laying there wishing they could go back to some activity with a one of their buddies.

Then third. They need someone to raise their children. Straight guys have absolutely no idea how to raise children, and leave that up to the woman to do it. Disregard the fact that these things are not descriptive of ALL the straight men you ever knew, but they are the reason straight guys marry women and stick with them for the rest of their lives, like some of them do. Or just jump from one woman to another.

There are SOME straight guys who have discovered what Calhoun and Jos Alvarez are expressing. That women are full of drama. Some men who cannot handle DRAMA have a hard time with women, and these two guys have discovered that they have that in common. Lots of straight guys are like this, but have not been able to put it into the words that Calhoun and Jos Alvarez have expressed here. I guarantee you, both of these guys would rather be fucking women, then each other. But in the instant case, it was the MONEY that brought them together. G4P. And they’re just saying, the sex “ain’t all that bad”.

If Broke Straight Boys gave either one of these guys the choice ot a guy or a girl, without the drama, they'd be fucking the girl everytime, and then as soon as they pop their load, go back to whatever activity they like to do when relating to a buddy. Video games, watching some football game, working, hunting, fishing. Whatever. Meaningless, casual, no drama.

Somewhere in this is the explanation to why some women prefer to relate to gay men. They discover that SOME gay men are like they wish all men were like. They are into relationships, talking about feeling, and into the drama. From my own perspective, this type of gay-loving women have always seen me coming down the road about a mile and hate me right up front. We've even seen that on this forum from the few women who have been members here. One thing they all agreed was that I'm the type of gay guy they hate. LOL But I've always accepted this. I am what I am. And the best way to deal with them is to avoid interaction.

I believe that if Broke Straight Boys would be offering these two guys the choise of sex with each other, or sex with a woman, both of them would choose a woman, and get up from the sex act, wash off their dick an go on down the road. No drama. No involvement, and a happy dick. A straight guy’s dream come true. But instead, they have discovered that barring this, G4P is not exactly a bad way of relating to each other. And they have the money.

Plus, I agree with Jay that some of the things they were saying was a kind of convoluted BS just for the interview. After all, their jobs depend on their saying pretty much what they were saying.

Please don’t hate me.

While I have previously stated my lack of fondness for these post-scene bts's. I found this one interesting, no doubt because I am smitten with Calhoun and Jos Alvarez is one of my top favorite models. And I loved the affection Calhoun was showing toward Jos Alvarez.

Only the guys know how they feel about having sex with men and/or women. The rest of us can only speculate based on how we feel about what they say. Personally if they can give us a scene like this one every time, I don't care who they want to fuck.

And Stud - why should anyone "hate" you for expressing your views? My reaction to your commentary was this: if you are really as old as you say you are, then I think your views might in large part be reflective of the generation in which you grew up. Again, just my reaction.

And note to mgmnt: do a better job editing. You have the pre-scene warning card at the beginning of this post-scene video.

I just went back to re-watch the first few minutes of the "after-scene" and it opened with Calhoun caressing Jos Alvarez and he kissed him gently on the ear and kept stroking his body, rubbing his chest, nipples and armpits, and Jos Alvarez used his arm to rub against Calhoun, and when Sha asked Calhoun to remind us about his sexuality, he spoke of growing up liking women, and then he did say and I quote,

"I feel like my identity is more gay than bisexual or straight" And, "Every now and then, naturally my body feels like fucking a woman......"

And Jos Alvarez replied, "Funny you said that as you mirrored a lot of what I feel".

They did give their reasons for liking sex better with men saying it was due to the drama associated with relationships with women, but I still feel that a completely straight man is not going to enjoy having sex with other men and call themselves gay unless they are gay. Speaking for myself as a totally gay man, as much as I might enjoy the company of a female, I would never start having sex with her and saying that my identity is now straight or bisexual. My belief is that these guys go into this line of work to explore their sexuality and some come to realize that they are gay.

I have met gay men, including a few on this forum who told me that they were previously married to women and who have children, but when I asked if they considered themselves bisexual, they all said that they later realized that they always gay, but not able to admit it to themselves when they had sex with, and married women. Others have told me that they now identify as bisexual, but none as straight.

I often say that this is a fantasy site set in a reality format, but when both models say that they now identify as "gay", I believe them, and their actions during the scene and after tend to affirm my belief.

.

An excellent point.

Sometimes I can't help myself from being over-analytic.

I actually enjoyed this After scene much more than I expected to. When Calhoun talked about his views on his sexuality I found it fascinating. Of course I was very interested to hear Jos Alvarez admit that Calhoun echoed many of his own thoughts and feelings about sexuality, sexual identity, attitudes towards the opposite sex and so on. In Jos Alvarez' interview with Ben Dover a while back, you would've thought they were the straightest two models on the site. hahaha That's the closest here that Jos Alvarez has ever come on the site to admitting to anything less than a totally straight/gay-for-pay self identity.

I actually enjoyed the playful post-coital interaction. The sweet and gentle kisses and the tender caresses actually added greatly to this interview for me. As much as I would like to cuddle with Calhoun as he was cuddling with Jos Alvarez...I admit I was rather envious of Calhoun in that moment. haha I would be thrilled to be lying next to a naked Jos Alvarez and loving on him as Calhoun was. I thought it was endearingly sweet the way Calhoun kept planting loving kisses on Jos Alvarez, caressing his chest and so on, as Jos Alvarez was talking to Sha.

Yes. I'm the first to admit that I usually prefer the straightest looking and acting models to be on the site. But this also showed a romantic side that strongly resonates with me.

Actually Tampa, you should check out the BTS with Ben, Jos Alvarez and Richie West

Ben said he was straight, Jos Alvarez said he was bisexual and Richie said he was gay!

Oh okay. I stand corrected then. haha I could have sworn I remember Jos Alvarez saying he was straight like Ben. My bad. lol

I found the post interview one of the best BTS I have ever seen on this site - and I really like the BTS. It to me came across honest and interesting. If the company can get Calhoun to keep coming back we are certainly going to be entertained by his big personality as well as his big...

and Jos Alvarez is one of the more interesting quirky characters we have had on the site. I would like him to do a longer interview some time, where we learned more about his life and interests. It's clear he thinks a lot about his sexuality. In the interview Mike just directed us to, with Ben and Richie, Jos Alvarez said he hadn't felt an emotional attachment to a man - but wouldn't necessarily fight it. So to me that's bi-sexual but saying that at least so far he's more straight-oriented than gay-oriented. But open to meeting the right guy. It would be interesting to know if he ever has sex with guys outside Broke Straight Boys

With Calhoun, I get the feeling he does have sex with guys off-set, but also with women. In another interview he said during the j/o scene he would be fantasisisng about a woman as he jerked off. So either that's a complete lie, or he is not yet completely gay.

On the quotes that some here are so focussed on, I think both were more commenting on the BS associated with getting women in bed, and that sex with men can be more straightforward, rather than summing up their sexuality. After all you don't turn gay just because you find women a bit dramatic. I think both guys know that.

Really good interview and can we also give a shout-out to Sha. He really seems to have the gift of making really good friends with all the models and really knows how to get the best out of them. I'm a journalist and I have to say I would find it absolutely fascinating to sit down for an interview with Sha.

Hey Tampa, I am with you. I enjoyed the after interview. I found out more about Jos Alvarez, more than Calhoun. I teased one member that it just goes to reason that Calhoun has a huge dick. Did anyone notice those huge country boy feet? Some scenes don't live up to the hype, but this one surely did. There was chemistry between the two men, with no holes barred.
I wish Calhoune will chat with us as he did once before the scene came out. It was a great pleasure to see these two guys together. I would only would add, it would have been nice to have seen a flip between the two guys.

I’m late to the game here I've been gone and very busy but I did get a chance to watch the after scene last night after talking to Mikeyank and reading many of your reviews. I agree with just about everyone that the after scene was great. I liked Calhoun before, because what’s not to like, but how honest and real he comes through is really refreshing. It seems he and Jos Alvarez may have both come to the porn business with curiosity but after lots of experience realized they were in fact gay, Or bi leaning gay. I don’t think this is particularly unusual. I have heard many porn stars and other gay for pay people like hustlers discover this about themselves and I think it makes perfect sense. Some of us just new we were gay from day one but I know from many stories from members and other people I’ve talked to over the years that it’s often a long and very involved process that got us to where we knew we were gay.

In my own experience, it was when I fell in love with my first boyfriend and I realized it was possible to love a man that I crossed over in my own mind and realized, I’m on of those guys! Lol. I’ve always been attracted to straight guys though it’s the reason I’m member of Broke Straight Boys I’m lucky that my long time partner is one of these guys. He will say he is gay now. He lives with a man. But he has 2 kids and was married twice etc. he still likes to watch straight porn and fuck women. He will not fuck a guy period but he likes to be fucked. He also hates cum he wipes it right off. So he isn’t your typical gay guy. He acts so straight that I often say I have to fuck him every so often to make sure he is still gay. But the reason I am telling this is to expand on something else Calhoun said in the after scene.

Calhoun said he seemed to get along better with men. My partner says the same thing. He is with his best friend. We understand each other and there are far less problems than he had with his relationship with women, that were always high drama. Men and women are very different and it takes a lot of work to make relationships work. That’s one advantage I think we have and I believe it’s probably true for lesbians also. Same sex couples often have a better understanding of each other that straight couples it’s maybe the one plus we have over the straight community. Anyway I wish more members would discus
Their own experience. Mark and others have started threads for members to tell their own stories and I wish more people would participate. Human sexuality abs why we are gay or why straightish guys might try it is one of the most fascinating subjects to me. It’s why I’m at this particular site. I know there is a wealth of experience out there but many are reluctant to share.

Great points Dean. Thank you!

KG, YOU and I BOTH think the same way, however, I am thinking many are of the mindset, "That's so '80s", so to speak.
Appreciate each scene individually, unless of course, it is set as a multi-part update, (which we have not had, in AGES!!)

I think that both Calhoun and Jos Alvarez were in a state of rapture after a spectacular fuck. So I would focus more on that than on the impact of this scene on their overall sexuality.

As tempa said great points Dean that you make here and thanks for sharing. I would question whether any model on Broke Straight Boys is truly straight, at best I think those that claim they are are probably bisexual I very much doubt if any truly straight guy would do gay porn no matter how much money they can earn. I say this not because I think that the models like Calhoun and Ryan Pitts or Ben Dover dont think about women when they are performing but a truly straight man would find having sex with another guy truly abhorrent to their own psyche and no matter how much viagra or whatever these guys use to help them stay hard they simply would not be able to go through with the act. Therefore everyone who agrees to become a Broke Straight Boys model has to be, even if they have not acknowledged it themselves attracted to men. Also I think any truly straight men would probably get through the jerk scenes but would find it impossible to perform with another model in later scenes. Judging by the number of scenes both at Broke Straight Boys and other sites that the aforementioned models have done I think we can say that really they fall into the bisexual category rather than straight.

We have been having this conversation on the forum for years. Most of us would agree that a true Kinsey 0. Absolutely straight, never did anything with a man wouldn’t appear on Broke Straight Boys but there are some way more toward the straight side that will take a walk on the wild side so to speak for what ever reason and I think it’s these guys we talk about be being straight. Basically it’s what their normal lifestyle is. I’ve known lots of guys who are primarily with women but will mess around. Are they 100%, no but they are way more straight than gay. Most of us aren’t interested in women. But some of us have been married etc. but we managed to have some sex with women. Did that make us straight, hardly. I doubt in many cases it didn’t make us very bi. I’ve been following some porn stars that live with women but really seem to enjoy sex with men. I think these guys are bi and there seems to be lots
Of them out there but it’s my understanding, being truly in the middle not caring which gender you have sex with is pretty rare. Most of us fall at one end of the scale or the other. I think it’s possible to get a Kinsey 1 or 2 to film gay porn. But I think you are right a 0 would not do it.

I am in complete agreement with Dean B and Rep and Foxyman. While human sexuality is so complex and it cannot be put neatly into a box, I fully agree that Calhoun and Jos Alvarez and all Broke Straight Boys performers, other than solo performers only are not "straight", while many primarily identify that way and totally live a straight lifestyle off set. But as I've said many times a totally straight guy, no matter how desperate for cash, can find other alternatives rather than sucking dick or fucking or getting fucked by a dude.

I do believe that going back to the earliest days of this site on David's futon on Broke Straight Boys-1, many of the straighter guys have come here to explore an aspect of their psyche, using the money as an excuse. But society has definitely evolved over the years and it was indeed very good to hear both Calhoun and Jos Alvarez be so honest about where they are at right now in their sexuality.

Yes. Times have changed and improved for the better. Not too long ago many straight-ish men who were anywhere on the fence with their sexuality would have been fearful of admitting somewhat publicly to being anything less than totally straight. Even on a G4P porn site. The honesty of Calhoun and Jos Alvarez here was very refreshing. :)
