a 2x4 + a psych textbook: on Brandon&Lucas

Centex it is funny your complaining when your avatar is Spencer Todd go back and check the comments after his first scenes people hated him for how he acted toward m2m sex.

All of this Lucas angst is, as Yogi Berra would say, "Deja vu all over again"!

We went through this after his first two scenes and the threads and posts abounded. Lucas told us he made a mistake in thinking that he had to act this way to fit in with the site's premise. He learned from his mistake and apologized and his scenes filmd later in the year reflect that. It is not his fault that management plays his scenes out of the chronological order in which they were filmed.

Among younger gays now is the trend to take back ownership of the word"faggot", just as those who were younger in the 90's led the charge to take back ownership of the word "Queer" which people of my generation found offensive, but most of us got over that. Now the word queer is hardly used by anyone other than GLBTQ community. If it worked with that word, then it might work with faggot.

And Mark, your first instinct was correct, i.e. not editing the comments. It is a slippery slope once you begin to let the inmates run the asylum.

I think you are taking this too seriously. Times have changed and people use the N word and Faggot all the time but not in a negative context. I am sorry it offended you that was not our intention.

I completely agree with Stowe here. I too thought that Mark was spot on in his initial judgement, before someone got to him, and convinced him to opt for "political correctness", and back track from his initial position.

If, as, and when I can vote, I'll give it a 4.

By the way people, when ever the camera is rolling, there is some type of acting involved. The only way to achieve true reality would be to have a planted hidden camera which NO ONE knew about, and then you would see the people being themselves without knowing they are being observed.

And, by the way producer and/or person who writes the thumbnail descriptions and scenes synopses, a true "creampie" really consists of not only the top cumming inside the bottom, but also the bottom pushing the cum out of his asshole or the top fingering it out for viewers to see.

Yes, BrotherStowe1, I also thought that was the definition of a creampie.
I'm not a particular fan of the act, but I was let down that the video
didn't fulfill the title.

I also agree that Lucas was set-up by management if he was indeed
encouraged to be a gay-hating straight boy.

Brandon, I think most of us agree, is ideal life-partner-boyfriend
stock. Meet me at the Civil Partnership altar, BB.

are you serious ? Did Broke Straight Boys instructe Lucas to "act" like his ignorant hateful father and use his words to act the part so it would seem realistic to us viewer? If i wanted to be hated on i can get that without paying for it . How dare you allow that kind of hateful ugly demeaning "acting" . I think you should stop and take a real hard look into what and who you have working for you . Its become obvious at this point that there is no one real person in charge of this site as proved by the release of this garbage. If you had such a bad response to Lucas from earlier shoots for his very ugly, out loud, thinking what were you thinking in allowing more to be released. I have always found Broke Straight Boys to be responsible and respectful of both veiwers and models . Lately I question the professionalism of you and your staff. I always recommend friends to subscribe but now im not sure i wont be questioned on my integrity for this type of "acting" . I cant beleive im even sending such a comment I pay you to entertain fantasies of straight gay for pay well i assure you if i was paying a straight boy for sex no matter what is done and who does what to whom the second he felt like a fucking faggot and spoke that sentiment out loud he would be leaving as fast as he could dress and hed go with nothing from me . Ive never been with a straight boy that i payed but i have made the i wont tell promise and we dont have to do anything you dont want to and in those encounters i have never heard any such talk. If Lucas is so offended by agreeing to do gay for pay his dick wouldnt stay hard and he would never alllow himself to be in such a position, as i see it. I want to say last that if any one of your models used the N word in any way we would have never heard nor seen that model or his work here. Derogatory is the same for everyone it hurts and should never be allowed .

I did this because if I put the F word people would be confused.

True, Mark, there was double F word usage there........

Okay, here is my thinking, and it is just mine, no one else may feel the same way.

Mark, I don't have a short attention span, and I don't get bored easily. That being said, I am bored to death of Lucas. I am as bored and over Lucas right now, as I was after a year of Jimmy videos, when people were saying he had been on too many times, and they were tired of seeing his scenes. When his picture shows up in the "coming soon" section, my heart sinks, and my brain echos "Here we go again......" through my skull. It isn't a pleasant feeling.......

Mikeyank
The probllem is that words do harm. Have you not seen that reallity? How may teens did we read about on the web last year nwho committed suicide because they were taunted with words that hurt them deeply and destroyed their self-esteem? I am probably older than you and I can say that growing up in a small Southern community was terrifying if you were a gay guy and yes, the words DID hurt. So, congratulations that you are apparently oblivious to the need to stamp out hate speech as much as possible. Not everyone will agree with what I see as a cavaier attitude. It SHOULD have been edited out.

I'm sorry AtlantaGuy, but I still disagree with you. I feel that there is a big difference between fantasy and reality. I consider this a fantasy site set in a reality format. The scenes shown here are provided for paying members, and are not being shown to the general public. Obviously there is still a huge problem today with gay teens committing suicide, often due to cruel insensitive demeaning remarks being made to them by their peers, but I do not see a correlation between those "real" situations and the "contrived" scenarios portrayed here by paid models to play into the "fetish fantasies" of paying members. It is not real. If you noticed at the end of the scene when Lucas was using those words, Brandon was laughing. And in fact Lucas was directing his homophobic epithets toward himself, not toward any gay people.

I equate this with a Hollywood film, perhaps a story where the United States is attacked by terrorists and there is massive death and destruction. In reality this would be a sad horrific thing, but fans of the genre will shell out their $10, buy their popcorn and enjoy the fantasy.

Broke Straight Boys going back to it's earliest scenes, has always portrayed a share of the models as being homophobic, and disgusted at the thought of touching another guy's dick or putting it in their mouths. That is a large part of the fantasy of this site for many of us. Mark has owned this site for many years, and I'm sure he knows what he is doing to attract and maintain audience. He in fact choose Jimmy Johnson to be the first and featured model during the rebranding of the site as BSB2, and Jimmy may have the record or is at the top of the list of the models with the most scenes. Jimmy never said the actual words that Lucas did, but he sure got a lot of folks riled up with his attitude about gay sex, especially the idea of him receiving anal. I was entertained by Jimmy.

But as this latest incident is receiving such a negative reaction from some, I guess I do agree now that it is better for Mark to censor that word from future scenes. But I am still not offended by those words here in context of this closed community. This is not the real world. It is only porn.

I have to agree completely with mikeyank, seems like a lot of moral high ground posturing revolving around a fantasy PORN scene. Let's not become too serious - as mikey noted this site revolves at least partially around the fantasy that STRAIGHT boys are performing acts that they don't really want to because they are desperate for money. Lucas has just played that up, perhaps coached, perhaps not. But who cares, watch as his dick gets harder as he sucks, and the way he loses himself fucking and kissing, it's freaking HOT. The viewer can fantasize he's going against everything he believes in, or being converted even as he denies it, or just assume he is gay and faking it.

The one thing that I might criticize is the order scenes are played out, it seems to be confusing the weak-minded since they are ostensibly being shown "out of order," e.g. this one appears to be after the Johnny scene but before the last one that was aired where he says he's already fucked and been fucked and his attitude has already started shifting.

As for the word - in this context it's just part of the porn the way I see it. How many porn scenes have actors calling each other bitch, f-word, whore, slut, daddy, etc etc. Just dirty talk if you ask me.

Again, we're in the world of hardcore porn, it's kind of hypocritical to start playing moral policeman here.

How can you be bored with Lucas - you don't even watch any of his films !

"Sticks and stones will break my bones. But words will never harm me". ???

I've never liked or agreed with that saying. That quote is only used when it is said about someone whose opinion the person doesn't care about. Words do hurt and "harm" us sometimes.

Having said that, I really didn't take offense as much as some others did because I knew it was acting. (Even if it was over-the-top acting) As Mikey says, Lucas had already told us that he was bi and even did escorting. He later apologized in advance for what he himself called his "shit acting". So I took his words with a grain of salt. For others who weren't aware of his BTS vid or earlier posts, I'm not surprised though that they were offended.

Still a 4 because of Lucas cumming in Brandon's ass that is one of my favorite sexusl things. It's hot.

I didn't like it and pretty much skipped through to the end, which was an actual creampie, but not shown by Clay; whatever.

I thought that Brandon did a great job and that Lucas did a decent job in the actual sex. My heart went out to Lucas when he said what his father had told him upon finding out about his video work. I actually believe that part. I've heard similar stories firsthand of how some parents have reacted to just getting the news the son was gay. My question though is why this scene is called a creampie. Not only is it not a creampie, but I was still left wondering at the end of the vid if Lucas ever came.

In one of the BTS vids Lucas sat there and lectured Reluctant Mike on the importance of calling out all cumshots in scenes. Then he goes on to tell Mike a story about how he forgot to call out his cumshot at the end of a scene with Johnny. (As yet unaired) The result of not doing so caused so much confusion and error that it resulted in them having to re-shoot the end of the scene. Then again in this scene, Lucas never calls out a cumshot. All we see is him huffing and puffing and then pulling out. No creampie, no cumshot, no calling out of even an orgasm.

I know that Clay tells them often of the importance of calling out all cumshots in every scene. With these so-called "creampie" scenes though the models seem to have it in their heads, even subconsciously, that they don't really need to call out their cumshots because the viewers won't see their cum anyway. Johnny did the same thing when he creampied Lucas. Yes. You still need to call out your orgasms even if the viewers can't see your actual cumshots.

I wasn't a fan of this scene lucas is a hot ,but hopefully this was the last scene with him acting

I recently watched the BTS with Damien Kyle

I was struck by how much Broke Straight Boys emphases the
REAL-REAL-REAL-REALness of the site. Then
we're told that Lucas was asked to play a
character (that, as interpreted by him, none
of us cottons to very much).

You can't have it both ways, O Noble Site!
Get thine act together.
