You know, I must concur with your evaluation of the ever charming and classy Jason Matthews. I find Jason to be a modern day Broke Straight Boys - Legend in the Making, much the same way Logan was able to accomplish during his tenure on Broke Straight Boys-1. At the time I lived to be communicating on the forum as I was newly retired (from 36 years as a high school counselor and was trying to make some sense out of my newly acquired freedom). I felt I had a lot to contribute on a forum formatted primarily for gay members plus a few noteable gay-friendly exceptions as well.

Anyway, while recognizing that you are definitely not new to the forum, I would like to get to know you better as a relative newbie by comparison. In my earlier posting directed to you, I took the liberty of commenting on the similarity in writing styles we share. I would like to apologize to you NOW if this all seemed a bit too forward and unexpected by you. Also, without knowing you better at the time, I can only imagine it probably came across to you as being guiet presumptous as well. Thanks for the complements. We all have egos to feed AND to stroke and I just refuse to hide mine, at least while I am writing on the forum. I hope we will become the greatest of friends. One thing for sure we both share, I love Jason at least at the same level as you, if not more. The fact that I find Jason to be so "silky-smooth" which feeds my imagination that much more on how fine it would be to nuzzle up against any part of our sweet, silky-smooth Jason. "Silk" is a very sexy fabric and I cannot think of anything that better defines the "essence" of our lovely Jason! So sorry that's its been so long since you've heard from me. My rcovery has gone rather well asside from the gaping holes in my mouth I constantly remov food from. As many of you may know I work in public relations but seasionally sell medicare dvantage plans during the annual enrollment period each year. On short notice I was asked to manage an office through jan 1. This ran along with Atlanta pride so to get 40 hrs on the clock, last week ad this week I have to pull 10 hour days Mon - Thurslast week Tue - Fri this week s I could take Friday and Monday off to attend Atl Pride. On my way to atlanta the great people at Air tran lost my luggage along with my laptop, I'm actually responding now via my smart phone. So I apologize for spelling errors in advance as well as any missing letters in words my keyboard may skip.

I have recently reached out to Clay to get on the schedule. I realize I am long over due! Not to mention, I could certainly use the money. Since the short notice staffing I haveincured a lot of expenses as the direct result. Rest assured I haven't gone anywhere and plan to debut as soon as possibile.

Life however, couldn't be better! I had a blast in Atlanta, I'm forming new relationships both intimatly and plutonically. Work is keeping me busy and election season is keeping me entertained! I am so excited to see you posting again. Now if you will only get your computer back, things will be more manageable. I can see the difference in your spelling but as an additional benefit to me, this experience you suffered has given me a new excuse for forgetting to use spell-check.

I lived for 9 months in Atlanta and loved it dearly, but that was ages ago. I am sure it has changed considerably since they put in the subway system. They were just working on the subway back in 1969-70.

That's funny but I don't ever remenber hearing of anyone being swooped up by Pluto for a relationship of any kind when I was still living in Atlanta, not even for a minute. It was held in piedmont park. Quite frankly I entirely enjoyed Atlanta and would prefer to return, sooner rather than later! In fact Atlanta Pride was among my favorites of the year!

Dear Jason,

I have always loved Piedmont Park since I first moved to Atlanta in 1969. It holds a special place in my memories. I found Atlanta to be very cosmopolitan in comparison to my home town of Little Rock, Arkansas. It presented me with so many opportunities, but I was still to shy to make the most of my time spend there other than cruising around the park as a form of "sexual window shopping' and nothing more. I never allowed myself to enjoy the sexual atmosphere. However, Piedmont Park was the first place where I observed two guys kissing passionately and it simply left an indellible mark burned in my memory.

This passionate kiss I observed was very public and probably was probably intended to shock others watching, but I had goosebumps immediately and had great difficulty keeping from staring in their direction after seeing this PDA. Being in such a place that I could finally feel free to express openly my gay orientation was liberating emotionally and made me know I was among my contemporaries. Unfortunately, I was too shy to fully entertain accepting my gay self publicly. It was a near miss as far as any sexual connections were concerned, as I knew no one in Atlanta other than those my co-workers where I worked and my landlord.

I returned some 9 months later to complete my college degree with the fond memories of a beautiful and historic city in the South firmly planted in my brain. I had hoped someday to reside there, but family obligations prevented me from doing this.

I have returned several times for short visits but only in connection with school business accompanied either by colleagues or students, so again I did not feel free to explore sexually while visiting in Atlanta.
