What do you guys think? Let's open this to all models, as well, that 'decide' to change their looks...Yea or Nay?

Zander Floyd is one of my all time favorites with or without the chin whiskers, but I have to say that he looks pretty scruffy with that thing. I like the body hair and pubes, but think I prefer Zander Floyd clean shaven. The beard detracts from his clean cut appearance.

Restricted to Zander Floyd and the goatee which this thread has as its title, I'd vote No - get rid of the goatee.

I like him more without. But he is cute either way. I would just like to lick his face and it might get in the way.lol

As we all know, most of these guys are in the prime of their lives. Along with that, your 20's are also when you experiment with the way you look. As much as I hated Paul cutting his hair...it is his hair to do with what he likes.:2c:

Do not like goatees on any model- detracts from facial beauty and we are helping to pay their salaries through membership fees!

To tell the truth I really don't care I like him anyway. I like Beth's quote in your 20s it is a time to experiment.
I had long hair short hair beard mustash long sideburns earrings tryed it all. Got to do it while you still have hair.
Glad I didn't get tattoos. Hear it really hurts like hell getting rid of them. So he is young let him try to figure out
what he wants to do. He has time. BUT.. Time gos real fast.lol and he is a real cutie either way. Just NO big bush please...

Personally, I don't have any feelings one way or another! I support and encourage people to evolve according to what makes them happy! When I was younger and searching for a look or style that suited me, whether it was expressive, or comfortable, friends or people who were close to me or around me enough, would give feedback but, never judge! Whether I wore facial hair or a large afro, Gerry curls or a crew cut for that military look,....I remained the same person who people grew to like and appreciate!

Same with me!! I started to get white hairs in my early 20s, I chalked it up to it being hella fun living and partying in the 80s. But I started to dye my hair and continued for 25 plus years and the last 2 years I said fuck-it!!! As long as I can still pull the 20 somethings I'm good.....

You bring up good points Beth that young guys on their own for the first time in life finally get the chance to experiment with their appearance without a parent being able to veto it. I'm sympathetic to that, even as I usually don't like it at all when models make drastic changes to their appearance. Tattoos, piercings, facial hair, major changes to hairstyle and the like. It can downright make me a little angry at times.

With Paul though that was a rather unique case in that he was not made famous for any particular style of hair. When he started, it was very very short. Then he grew it out a little more. I liked it that way. Then he let it grow out to a hippie style length. I didn't care for it as much. But I still loved him and still found him handsome. You apparently liked it being really long. Different strokes. lol

I was relieved when he did finally cut it. The fact that he's cut it back down from the hippie style length is not a drastic change though. By cutting it, he was actually helping to bring it back closer to his own middle of the road look that made him famous in the first place. The drastic change he made was not by cutting it, but the fact that he grew it out so long in the first place.

I agree. I don't care for it. Though as I say that, I don't think Zander Floyd could ever look ugly. haha
The problem with saying that "we" are helping to pay their salaries, so they should dress or groom as "we" like is that there is no one "we" in the audience.

Right here on this subject, some of us like facial hair, and some don't, so it is impossible for a model to please all of us, so I say for the models to groom however they feel comfortable and whatever they think is cool today. I want to see guys of 2015 and not guys from when I was 18 in 1968, although come to think of it, some of young hippy guys in 1968 had a lot more hair on their faces than the guys of 2015 do. :001_unsure:

Thank you, Mike for bringing out what I ULTIMATELY started this poll for, NOT just to 'pick on Zander Floyd', but rather, since he has been one of the models with the longest 'career longevity', all-be-it not consistant, (and My Fav)just to get an overall consensus, as well feedback, for him, so IF/when he reads the forum, he knows what his viewers like, or(provided HE feels comfortable doing the things)do not like.
