I am not sure why members on this site get upset with the models for being arrogant or cocky, what 20 year old you know that s not. I work with young men from 18-50 and trust me the younger guys are really full of themselves and Broke Straight Boys does good job at portraying young straight males doing gay porn. What did you guys think this site was about.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Keylow. I often feel like I am stranded on an island here on the forum with my beliefs and desires, so it pleases me to see that I am not alone in my way of thinking.

Exactly right Keylow. I have represented a number of young men in the 18 to 30 age group and these guys are pretty much a good representation of the attitudes you see among young straight men of that age group.

I completely agree. I work with mostly male college and professional athletes in my job and I assure you most of them are exactly like these guys...if not more cocky and arrogant. I'm honestly surprised these guys aren't more aggressive and forceful.

Again, I'm pleased to see that some members here enjoy the cocky, even somewhat arrogant straight guys, as I do. I so enjoy it when the performers here simulate real straight guys their age in their reaction to what they do here.

Welcome back to the forum Brando!

Yes. Many guys of that age act like that. Too much testosterone and often not enough life experience. lol I remember those days. :001_rolleyes:

Indeed Tampa, that is the way that a segment of straight guys that age do act, but the question is do you want to see more of that type of "macho" aggressive straight guy to appear on Broke Straight Boys, as many have in the past, and not many do today?

Tough question. Some guys pull off the arrogance and self confidence with greater social finesse than others. Some guys carry that swagger and it's entertaining and believable. Other guys have a sharper edge to it that can put me off. So it's not an easy question to answer in general terms. It's all on a case-by-basis depending on the model and the personality.

Can I add something here? (of course I can; I've got multiple sets of lips that speak volumes:001_tongue:) Anyway; when I see Kaden Alexander, I think it's more exuberance rather than cockiness. When things finally "get going" he doesn't seem to keep "gorilla-ing" his way around. I bet if we see more of him BTS, you might feel differently. In the Facebook photos, he actually appears a bit timid. Yep, just my :2c:

I agree with Tampa that it depends on the model.

I agree with you Beth that Kaden Alexander does not come across to me as one of those cocky arrogant young macho types. My feeling is that he was play acting, talking the talk in his recent scene with Colby.

But this thread started by a guy who works with straight guys and it is more a generalization about that type of guy. As a man who managed a warehouse for over 30 years, hiring hundreds of young assumedly straight guys over that period, I agree with keylow, juanjo and brandojohn that macho talk, trash talk and posturing are often the way guys that age interact with one another, and I can just picture so many of the guys who worked for me over the years, where if there were put on a set and were told to suck or get sucked off by another dude, there would be plenty of macho put downs going down. It is just the nature of the beast.

I agree Mikey. When you put these young guys in a very awkward and uncomfortable situation, they will often engage in humor or even some trash talk to cut the tension. Sometimes it's actually defensiveness presenting itself as cockiness. Or as you say, "play acting". Many guys who are doing this for cash but against their sexual orientation will usually want to present themselves as at least the alpha male on the set. It's a way for them to feel like they are keeping their masculinity intact.
